Pharmacodynamics

Chondroxide contains a natural element - chondroitin sulfate. It is obtained from cartilage tissues located in the trachea of cattle. This component is a high molecular weight mucopolysaccharide that slows down the degeneration of cartilage tissue. It also inhibits the activity of enzymes that contribute to the breakdown of these tissues, stimulates the binding processes of glycosaminoglycans, helps restore the cartilage surfaces of the joints together with the articular bag, and in addition increases the production of fluid inside the joints and increases the activity of synthetic processes inside chondrocytes, improving the quality of their structure. The substance also helps to restore the matrix of cartilage tissues.

Dimethyl sulfoxide contained in the gel improves the passage of chondroitin sulphate into the tissues.

The drug weakens pain in the inflamed joints and helps to increase their mobility, and at the same time inhibits the progression of osteochondrosis with osteoarthritis.
