Indications Enata 400

It is used in case of hypo-or avitaminosis of type E. In addition, it is prescribed with combined antioxidant treatment, during the recovery period after the received traumas or somatic diseases of severe severity, and in addition due to an unbalanced diet or physical overload.

As an integral part of the combined treatment is used in such situations:

• prevention of the appearance of disorders in the development of the embryo or congenital malformations in the fetus;
• at threat of a breakdown of pregnancy;
• menopausal disorders, disorders of the cycle of menstruation and kraurosis of the vulva;
• auditory disorders of a perceptive nature;
• atrophic lesions of mucosal respiratory ducts;
• affecting fibrous vertebral tissues, and with it major joints of a proliferative and degenerative nature;
• muscular weakness associated with discogenic blockades in the case of diseases affecting the intervertebral disc, and in addition SLE, scleroderma with rheumatoid arthritis and other common pathologies in the area of connective tissues;

Pharmacodynamics

Tocopherol is a fat-soluble vitamin that exerts a pronounced radioprotective and at the same time antioxidant effect, participates in processes of heme and protein biosynthesis, cell proliferation and other important processes of cellular metabolism. The component improves the oxygen saturation of tissues, has an angioprotective effect, affecting vascular permeability and tone by stimulating the formation of new capillaries.

Immunomodulating activity of tocopherol develops with the stimulation of humoral, as well as T-cell immunity.

This vitamin is necessary for healthy reproductive activity: conception, fetal development, and the formation and functioning of the reproductive system.

Lack of tocopherol causes dystrophy of the myocardium and musculature of the skeleton, as well as hypotension, reduces the strength of the capillaries and increases their fragility, and besides leads to degeneration of the photoreceptors, which is why the visual disorder develops. Together with this, there is a weakening of reproductive activity in men, and in women - a disorder of the cycle of menstruation, as well as an increase in the propensity to miscarriages.

With a deficiency of tocopherol, jaundice of a hemolytic nature may appear in newborns, but also of steatorrhea or malabsorption syndrome.

Pharmacokinetics

After intestinal absorption, the main part of the drug penetrates into the blood with lymph and is quickly distributed inside the body tissues, which mainly involves cumulation inside the musculature, liver and fatty tissues. The maximum values of drugs are observed inside the pituitary with the myocardium, adrenals and gonads.

The main part of Enata 400 is excreted together with urine, and the remainder is excreted with bile.

Dosing and administration

Tocopherol is used orally after eating; dosage portion is selected personally, taking into account the type of pathology and its course, as well as the patient's condition. Capsule swallowed whole, while washing it with plain water.

Serving sizes for different disorders:

• combined antioxidant treatment: 1-2 times a day for 200-400 mg;
• pathology in the development of the embryo, or congenital anomalies in the fetus: 1-fold per day for 100-200 mg of the substance, apply in the 1st trimester;
• the threat of pregnancy disruption: the introduction of 100-200 mg of LS per day, a 14-day period;
• disorders of the cycle of menstruation (combined course): 300-400 mg every other day; To start treatment it is necessary from 17th day of a cycle monthly (it is necessary to repeat treatment during 5 cycles);
• disorders of the course of the menstruation cycle when using the drug before the beginning of hormonal treatment: 100-200 mg of the drug 1-2 times a day within a 2-3-month period;
• rheumatoid arthritis: 100-300 mg daily, for a period of several weeks;
• muscle dystrophy or pathology affecting tendons with joints and nerves with muscles: 100-200 mg 1-2 times a day in a 30-60-day period. You can repeat the cycle of treatment after 2-3 months;
• accompanied by depletion of neurasthenia: 100 mg 1 time per day in the period of 30-60 days;
• individual violations of the endocrine function: 300-500 mg LS per day;

• anemia of an alimentary nature: 300 mg of substance per day, 10-day period of admission;

Adults need to use an average of 100 mg of medication at a time. The maximum size of a single serving is 400 mg. For a day, on average, 200 mg is used, and the maximum allowable daily dose is 1000 mg.

Use Enata 400 during pregnancy

With lactation or pregnancy, medication can be used only under medical supervision and in recommended portions.

Part of the medicine passes through the placenta, getting inside the fetus. The amount of tocopherol in the fetus is 20-30% of the indices of the substance inside the blood plasma of the mother.

Tocopherol is also excreted in mother's milk.

Contraindications

The main contraindications:

• strong sensitivity associated with the active element and other substances of the drug;
• cardiosclerosis;
• myocardial infarction in acute phase;
• hyperthyroidism;
• gervetaminamine type E;
• intolerance to soy or peanuts.

Side effects Enata 400

Often, Enat 400 is tolerated without complications, but using high portions (0.4-0.8 g per day) can lead to potentiation of hypothrombinemia, and with it to nausea with visual disturbances and gastric pain. Also to dizziness, and in addition to diarrhea, the appearance of bleeding inside the gastrointestinal tract, increase in liver size, headaches, a feeling of general weakness or severe fatigue, digestive disorders or creatinuria.

Symptoms of allergy may be noted, including itching, rashes, fever and redness of the epidermis.

Overdose

The introduction of large amounts of tocopherol (0.4-0.8 g per day for a long period of time) can cause diarrhea, visual disturbances, headaches, abdominal cramps or nausea, and in addition dizziness, extreme weakness or fatigue. There may be an increase in the values of CK, serum triglyceride and cholesterol levels, and in addition increase the values of androgens with estrogens inside the urine.

Extremely large portions (over 0.8 g, for a long time) can cause bleeding in people with vitamin K deficiency. It is also possible to disturb the metabolic processes of thyroid hormones and increase the likelihood of thromboembolism with thrombophlebitis in persons with severe sensitivity.

To eliminate the disorder, excrete the tocopherol from the body, and then perform symptomatic measures. 

Interactions with other drugs

Tocopherol is not allowed to be used in combination with substances of silver or iron, as well as drugs with alkaline medium (trisamine and sodium bicarbonate) and indirect anticoagulants (neodicumarin with dicumarin).

The drug potentiates the activity of NSAIDs and NSAIDs (ibuprofen with sodium diclofenac and prednisolone), and also reduces the toxicity of the drugs SG (digoxin with digitoxin), calciferol and retinol.

Tocopherol with its metabolic products has an antagonistic effect on vitamin K.

The drug increases the therapeutic efficacy of anticonvulsants in persons suffering from epilepsy.

Colestipol with cholestyramine and mineral oils weaken the absorption of tocopherol.

The use of large portions of tocopherol can lead to a decrease in the amount of retinol in the body.
