Cefepon has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.

Indications Cefecona

Cefepon N is used as an analgesic for pains of varying intensity, developing against such violations:

  • tooth pain, and in addition neuralgia and sciatica with lumbago;
  • headaches and migraine attacks;
  • pathologies that are degenerative-dystrophic in nature, and affect the function of ODA (such as osteochondrosis, Bechterew's disease or osteoarthritis);

Cefexon D is used for children:

  • as an antipyretic in ARVI with influenza, complications after vaccination, childhood infections and other conditions, against which there is an increase in temperature;
  • as an analgesic for pain of different genesis (myalgia with neuralgia, painful sensations arising from burns or injuries, as well as dental or headaches).

Release form

The release is made in the form of rectal suppositories, 5 pieces inside a blister pack. The box contains 2 such blisters.

Pharmacodynamics

Cefekon N is a complex remedy from the category of drugs that have analgesic and antipyretic effects. The substances naproxen with salicylamide have an anti-inflammatory effect and are non-steroidal. Caffeine stabilizes and potentiates the excitatory processes in the cerebral cortex.

The drug helps exchange processes inside various organs with tissues (for example, in the muscle, as well as the central nervous system).

The child's analogue of the drug (Cefekon D) stimulates the blockade of the COX element inside the central nervous system, which affects the thermoregulatory system and pain centers. Inside the inflamed area, the effect of paracetamol on COX is neutralized by cellular peroxidase, and therefore its anti-inflammatory effect is significantly weakened.

The medication does not have a negative effect on the gastrointestinal mucosa and water-salt balance, so that sodium and water do not stay inside the body.

Excretion is carried out through the kidneys - inactive substances decay products are derived (glucuronides with sulfates).

Overdose

Poisoning with Cefekton N can provoke or intensify the severity of negative manifestations: tachycardia, dizziness, bronchial spasms, heart failure, itching and pain inside the rectum, and increase blood pressure. Interactions with other drugs

Combinations with Cefekon N.

When combined with the drug, a decrease in the antihypertensive effect of ACE inhibitors and β-adrenoblockers is noted.

Combination with sulfonylurea derivatives (among them anticoagulants or antidiabetic medications for ingestion) leads to potentiation of their medicinal properties.

Combination with Cefekton D.

Combination with salicylates significantly increases the likelihood of a nephrotoxic effect.

Use together with paracetamol potentiates the toxic properties of chloramphenicol, weakens the drug efficacy of drugs that slow down binding and accelerate the excretion of uric acid, and also enhances the effect of indirect anticoagulants.
