Antiarrhythmic properties develop under the influence of the activity of hawthorn and rauwolfia alkaloids, which weaken the excitability of the myocardium, slow down the AV conductivity, and also suppress the automatism of the action of the sinus node.
Sedative influence is due to the effect of the drug on the CNS, manifested in the form of a decrease in the sense of fear and anxiety, and in addition to easing emotional tension.
Dosing and administration
Use the medication for half an hour before eating, holding the pill in your mouth until it completely dissolves. The duration of the therapeutic cycle is 1-1.5 months. The number of tablets used is determined by the indices of blood pressure.
If the pressure level is within 145 / 85-160 / 85, you should drink on the 1st pill of the drug in the morning, and then in the evening. If the pressure is 160 / 90-180 / 90, the drug is taken according to the scheme 2 tablets in the morning, 1 more tablet in the afternoon, before dinner, and the last - in the evening, before dinner. At the values of 180 / 95-190 / 100 (in combination with other medications) a 2-1-2 tablet scheme is required. If the pressure is 190/100 or more (part of the complex therapy), then you need to use tablets in the 2-2-2 mode.
The first results of therapy are observed after the lapse of 7 days of treatment. After achieving stable pressure values, the drug is used in maintenance portions.
