Betalgon is a medicine with local irritant and analgesic effects.
Indications Betalgona
It is used in the treatment of such disorders:
- arthralgia, neuralgia libbo myalgia ;
- injuries affecting ligaments or muscles;
- various bruises;
- sciatica or lumbago;
- vertebral osteochondrosis accompanied by radicular syndrome;
- injuries of a sports origin;
- disorders of peripheral blood flow.
Release form
The drug is sold as an ointment for external processing, inside tubes of 15, 20 or 25 g. In a separate box contains 1 tube.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a combined basis and is used for external treatment. It contains 2 vasodilating elements, which have a high therapeutic activity.
Betalgon has a distracting, and besides it spasmolytic and local irritating medicamentous effect. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory, warming, and at the same time analgesic effect, and also stimulates the processes of local blood flow.
Due to the improvement of blood flow inside the epidermis, blood circulation in the area of the underlying tissues is also enhanced.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug effect manifests itself several minutes after treatment, reaching a maximum effect after about 20-30 minutes.
Dosing and administration
First you need to use the ointment in small volumes. The strip of substance should be a maximum of 0.5 cm in length. It is applied to the required area of the epidermis, using a special applicator (the treatment area is approximately the same as the size of the palm). To strengthen the medicamental effect, the treatment zone can be closed with any woolen cloth.
The patient should be warned that, without consulting a doctor, the drug can be used for a maximum of 10 days.

Use Betalgona during pregnancy
Prescribing ointment to pregnant women or breast-feeding women is necessary with great care.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated to use the medicine in the presence of intolerance with regard to its constituent elements. Also, it is forbidden to treat ointment areas with open wounds, and in addition to this zone with damaged or irritated epidermis.
Side effects Betalgona
The use of Betalgon can trigger the onset of allergy symptoms.
Overdose
If during the procedure, too much ointment was applied, weaken its influence by wiping the epidermis with a napkin, which was pre-treated with any nutritious cream or simple vegetable oil.
Storage conditions
Betalgon should be kept in a dark and dry place, closed from children's access. Temperature values are within 20 ° C.
Shelf life
Betalgon is allowed to be used within 24 months of the manufacture of the therapeutic agent.
