Pharmacodynamics
The effect of the ointment is provided by the combined effect of its ingredients:
- Methyl ester of salicylic acid (methyl salicylate) - the active component of vintegrene oil, applied to the skin, penetrates inside, relieving the pain syndrome and inflammation of the joint or nerve.
- Menthol is a component that irritates the cold nerve endings of the skin, thus providing a mild distraction-analgesic effect.
- Eucalyptus oil - heats the inflamed joints.
- Camphor - has a local irritant effect, reducing pain in inflamed muscles, joints, tendons.
- Turpentine oil - warms the muscles, articular, tendon tissues, eliminating unpleasant soreness, having an antiseptic effect along the path of penetration. It releases histamine from the surface layers of the skin, thereby reducing inflammation and providing a tonic effect.
- Clove oil - supplements anesthetic and anti-inflammatory action, stimulates blood microcirculation and relaxes on muscle tissue.
- Timol - provides a sufficiently pronounced local anesthesia and has a bactericidal effect.
The synergistic effect of all natural components makes the ointment very effective for joint and muscle diseases, accompanied by pain and enslavement of the muscles. Active substances that make up the ointment, penetrating the epidermis, activate the circulatory process in the affected tissues, which improves tissue respiration, helps to relieve inflammation and tension in muscles, and reduces pain syndrome.
