Scaly lichen is a common dermatosis, with which so far not managed to cope with any drug. Modern official medicine is able to offer only a temporary achievement of the state of remission. This multifactorial disease affects not only the skin, but virtually all body systems. Flaxseed oil in psoriasis is a noteworthy alternative to drug therapy. Judging by the reviews, this tool helps even with severe and extensive lesions, and the side effects are not comparable with the undesirable consequences of the use of medications.
The oil is squeezed from flaxseed by cold pressing, it must be unrefined and used without heat treatment. Its main drawback is a short shelf life. On sale you can find two forms of release: gelatin capsules or bottles with oil of small capacity.

Pharmacodynamics
The pharmacological properties of oil from the seeds of flax are due to its rich composition. It contains in considerable quantities polyunsaturated fatty acids Omega-3.6, respectively 70%, 20% (their complex is also called vitamin F) and monounsaturated Omega-9 (20%). Polyunsaturated fats the body can not synthesize itself and get them with food. Essential fatty acids Omega-3.6 participate in virtually all metabolic processes and support the work of all body systems. This complex is a powerful antioxidant that dilutes blood and removes inflammatory and allergic processes, improves the functioning of the immune system, which helps to restore and heal mucous membranes of internal organs and skin. They are able to cope with neuropsychic disorders, migraines, diabetes and overweight.
Omega-9 is necessary for normal metabolism, which is important for a disease such as psoriasis, provides vascular health and the synthesis of necessary hormones in the body.
Flaxseed oil contains a significant amount of tocopherol (vitamin E), which protects cells from oxidation products that favorably affect red blood cells and the whole vascular system.
The macronutrients (phosphorus, calcium) are necessary for the normal functioning of bone and muscle tissue, mental activity, nerves and blood vessels. Fatty acids and phosphorus promote the absorption of calcium by the body.
From trace elements in linseed oil, the presence of zinc, involved in reparative processes in the skin, which promotes hair growth and normal hematopoiesis, is noticeable. Participates in strengthening the immune and nervous system.
The use of flaxseed oil has a beneficial effect on the work of all systems and organs, normalizes it, which helps to reduce skin manifestations of the disease, and sometimes, according to people who have long suffered from this disease, leads to a prolonged remission.
Pharmacokinetics
Since the oil squeezed from flax seeds is not a drug, its pharmacokinetics have not been studied. It is known that this product is absorbed in the body by 98%.
