The yarrow herb is a haemostatic drug that is of plant origin.
Indications of the herbs of Yarrow
It is used in the treatment of the following diseases:
- bleeding from the nose, lungs or uterus (during inflammation or fibromiomas), and in addition hemorrhoidal or intestinal;
- hypoacid form of gastritis;
- ulcerative pathology in the area of the duodenum gut or stomach;
- ulcerative colitis of a spastic type;
- bloating;
- pathology in the area of GVP or liver (such as cholecystitis, hepatitis or cholangitis);
- diseases affecting the bladder or kidneys (among them urethritis with cystitis, as well as pyelonephritis with glomerulonephritis) - while the drug is used in combination with other drugs.
Release form
Release in the form of grasses in packs of 35 or 50 g. Also in the form of powder raw materials, in filter bags with a volume of 1.5 g, 10 or 20 pieces inside the pack. Another form of release - crushed vegetable raw materials, in packs of 20, 30, 35, and 50 or 70 g.
Dosing and administration
The recipe for making tincture number 1:
Take a medicinal mixture (1.5 tablespoons) and pour it with boiled water (200 ml). Then close the container with a lid and insist on a water bath for 15 minutes. After that, cool the broth (about 45 minutes), and then strain it and wring out the remainder. The resulting tincture should be brought to a volume of 200 ml - add to it the necessary amount of boiled water.
Tincture should be drunk warm, 2-3 times a day, half an hour before eating. The dose for adolescents from 14 years and adults is 1 / 3-0.5 glasses, and for children aged 12-14 years - a quarter of the glass.
The recipe for making tincture number 2:
Take 2 filter bags with a mixture and pour them with boiling water (100 ml), and then insist for 15-20 minutes.
Drink tincture 2-3 times a day (warm) before eating (for half an hour). Dosage for adolescents over 14 years and adults - 100 ml, for children age 12-14 years - 50 ml. It is required to shake the medicine before taking.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor, for each person individually.

Use of the herbs of Yarrow during pregnancy
Pregnant women should not prescribe the drug, as it increases the uterine tone.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications:
- increased blood circulation;
- propensity to thrombi;
- intolerance of bioactive elements of a medicine or other plants included in the category of astroids (family Compositae).
Side effects of the herbs of Yarrow
