The biogenic preparation Yansheng Hubao is a representative of herbal remedies that affect the functioning of the digestive tract. It belongs to cytokines and immunomodulators.
The medicine Yansheng Hubao can be dispensed from pharmacies without a mandatory prescription.
Indications Yansheng Hubao
The medicinal product Yansheng Hubao is used as an additional drug in the complex treatment of the following diseases and conditions:
- inflammation of the prostate gland;
- hypertrophic changes in the prostate gland;
- frequent urge to urinate, small amount of urine excreted;
- inflammatory process in the kidneys;
- sexual dysfunction;
- menstrual cycle disorders.
The drug Yansheng Hubao is not considered as an independent medicine, but is used mainly for various drug combinations. Separately, it can be used as a preventive agent.

Release form
The medicinal product Yansheng Hubao is presented in the form of a dark brown liquid.
Taste characteristics: spicy, sweetish aftertaste.
The medicine consists of an alcohol extract obtained from the plant mass of natural plant and animal base. The composition of Yansheng Hubao is represented by:
- red ginseng;
- donkey kidneys;
- flavonol icariin;
- Japanese caraway;
- leek seeds;
- rhizome of the two-toothed strawflower;
- fennel seeds;
- particles of non-ossified horns - antlers;
- silkworm insect extract;
- seeds of bindweed;
- broomrape cistanche;
- blue fenugreek;
- orchid-like curculiga;
- Lowreys cinnamon;
- additional ingredients in the form of cane sugar and ethanol.
The alcohol extract in liquid form is packaged in 100 ml bottles. The outer packaging is cardboard.
It is produced by Yansheng Hubao in China, Shenyang Pharmaceutical Company.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicinal effect of Yansheng Hubao is explained by the unique composition of the medicine. It contains triterpene and saponin glycosides, volatile oils, plant sterols, peptides, B vitamins, and minerals.
The medicine gently activates processes in the central nervous system, calms, and promotes adaptation.
The ingredients of Yansheng Hubao stimulate excitatory processes in the nerve cells of the cerebral cortex, stem zones, promote reflex function, activate metabolism, enhance performance, normalize endocrine function and adrenal secretion.
Auxiliary properties of the medicine Yanshen Hubao:
- reduces inhibition processes in the nervous system;
- improves the functional capacity of the adrenal glands;
- stabilizes adrenaline levels;
- normalizes hormonal levels.
Pharmacokinetics
The pharmacokinetics of the drug is not presented, since it is extremely difficult to trace the individual kinetic properties of each plant and animal ingredient.
Dosing and administration
Yansheng Hubao is intended for oral use, on average 15 ml daily. A course of treatment includes six to eight vials of the medicine.
Before using the medicinal liquid, the bottle should be shaken.
After taking a dose of the medicine, you should not drink anything for 2 hours.
Use Yansheng Hubao during pregnancy
As is known, the use of various medicinal preparations by pregnant and lactating women is extremely limited, due to the possible toxic effect on the child and directly on the course of pregnancy. The same restriction applies to the drug Yanshen Hubao: since the kinetic properties of the drug have not been determined, it cannot be said that the drug is safe.
At present, doctors consider pregnancy and breastfeeding to be contraindications to treatment with this drug.

- Diabetes mellitus.
- Cardiological and vascular pathologies in the stage of decompensation.

Side effects Yansheng Hubao
Side effects during treatment with Yansheng Hubao are extremely rare and are expressed in a hypersensitivity reaction to one or more ingredients. Allergy can manifest itself in the form of skin rash, swelling, itching, redness of the skin. If taking the medicine is accompanied by undesirable symptoms, then it is recommended to stop treatment, replacing the drug with another drug with a similar effect, but a different component composition.

Overdose
There have been no cases of overdose of the herbal remedy Yansheng Hubao.
Interactions with other drugs
The presented medicinal product is capable of enhancing the effect of psychostimulant and analeptic medications, especially medications with camphor, caffeine, and phenamine.
Antagonistic action has been observed with medications that can depress the function of the central nervous system. These include hypnotics, anticonvulsants, and sedatives.
The components of Yansheng Hubao may enhance the effect of warfarin and also contribute to the development of addiction to loop diuretics.
Storage conditions
For proper storage, the drug should be tightly sealed, placed in a cool, dark place, away from children's eyes.
The appearance of a small sediment or turbidity inside the bottle is acceptable and is not considered a sign of low quality of the medicine.

Shelf life
