Vilozen is an immunostimulant, belongs to the group of immunomodulators and cytokines. Promotes proliferative and differentiating processes in relation to T-lymphocytes, has immunomodulatory activity, suppresses the formation of reagins and the development of delayed intolerance. [1]

The medication is used for local treatment, in contrast to thymalin with tactivin and thymoptin. It is prescribed for nasal instillation or nasal inhalation. [2]

Indications Vilozen

It is used to treat lesions of the upper part of the respiratory tract of an allergic nature ( hay fever , rhinosinusitis of an infectious-allergic type).

Release form

The release is realized in the form of a nasal powder, inside ampoules with a volume of 20 mg. The box contains 10 such ampoules or 5 vials equipped with a dropper cap.

Dosing and administration

The drug is used locally - in the form of intranasal inhalation or nasal drops. During the day, 20 mg of the substance should be administered (1 bottle or ampoule). Before the introduction, you need to add boiled water or 0.9% NaCl (2 ml) to the ampoule with the medicine. Vilozen should be instilled in 5-7 drops inside each nostril, 5 times a day, or perform 1-time intranasal inhalation.

In the case of pollinosis, the drug is started to be used when the first clinical signs appear. To prevent the development of hay fever, the medication is used 1 week before the possible development of clinical manifestations of the disease. The therapeutic cycle lasts 14-20 days. It can be repeated if necessary.
