Viburcol is a homeopathic substance. It exhibits analgesic, antispasmodic, sedative, detoxifying and anticonvulsant activity. [ 1 ]
The therapeutic effect and properties of the drug are realized by activating the immune activity of the body, as well as stabilizing and eliminating the developed dysfunctions. The effect of the drug develops due to the impact of its constituent elements, which are of mineral and plant origin. [ 2 ]
During fever, the drug exhibits a lytic and antipyretic effect without changing blood flow processes in the form of hypotension. [ 3 ]
Indications Viburcol
It is used in combination therapy as an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic element - in case of respiratory pathologies in a child. In addition, suppositories are used during teething in children - to eliminate clinical symptoms. It is also prescribed for the treatment of children with bloating, signs of dyspepsia, with nervous agitation and convulsive readiness.
Along with this, the medication is used in adults - in case of inflammation in the genital area in women.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of rectal suppositories - 6 pieces inside a cell plate. There are 2 such plates in a box.
Dosing and administration
The medication is administered rectally. It is used in the event of acute respiratory viral infection or severe pain during the eruption of baby teeth. Babies under six months of age should be given 2 suppositories per day. Children over six months of age (at a temperature exceeding 37.5°C) – 4 suppositories; if the temperature exceeds 38°C, 6 suppositories per day are used. After the temperature has stabilized, the dose is reduced to 1 suppository, used 1-2 times per day (this cycle is continued for another 3-4 days).
The medication can be prescribed during inflammation in the urogenital tract during pregnancy. During this period, the frequency of administration and duration of therapy is selected by the attending physician, taking into account the course of the pathology and its nature. Often, 1 such cycle lasts for 3-14 days.
- Application for children
In pediatrics, Viburcol is prescribed, in addition to the period of teething and treatment of bloating, as an additional agent in the combination therapy of measles and mumps with chickenpox.

The decision regarding the possibility of using drugs during pregnancy should be made by the attending physician, who will first take into account the benefits and all possible risks.
Contraindications
