Vasavital

One of the newest drugs Vazavital® is a complex tool for improving general and cerebral circulation, increasing mental and physical activity, protecting the nervous system from exhaustion. The drug can also be used as a preventive tool for strokes and heart attacks.

Indications Vasavital

Medication Vazavital can be appointed by the doctor both for curative and prophylactic purposes, with the following diseases and conditions:

• discirculatory encephalopathy, which is accompanied by a disorder of concentration of attention, poor memory, weak perception, a decrease in general intelligence;
• initial manifestations of Alzheimer's disease;
• neurosensory disorders (sensation of ringing or noise in the ears, hearing loss, dizziness);
• diabetic retinopathy;
• arteriopathy of the vessels of the legs (disorders of tissue trophism, pain and lameness);
• Raynaud's syndrome.

The drug can be used and quite healthy people, as a prevention of cerebral vascular pathologies.

Release form

Medication Vazavital is available in the form of dense white-green gelatin capsules filled with a powdery substance of a beige hue (sometimes with dark and light impregnations).

The package contains 30 capsules, which include: ginkgo biloba extract, plant pollen, rutin, ascorbic acid, nicotinic acid, as well as B vitamins.

Pharmacodynamics

Vasavital refers to medicinal products of vitamin-plant origin, containing extract from the leafy part of the ginkgo biloba plant. The therapeutic effectiveness of the extract is due to the presence of flavone glycosides and terpenes - ginkolides and bilobalides, in addition, the presence of proanthocyanidins and organic acids, which enhance the bioavailability of the constituents of the preparation. The main pharmacological action of Vasavital is its ability to inhibit the reaction of free radical oxidation: this reaction is considered one of the causes of tissue damage in ischemic and hypoxic processes.

Vazavital helps to form vasoactive and inflammatory mediators. This explains its property to activate blood circulation and prevent the formation of edema. Medpreparat reduces the risk of blood clots, stabilizes cellular metabolism, increases the amount of ATP of the cerebral cortex, activates the metabolic processes between dopamine and norepinephrine. Accelerates the process of cholinergic transmission, improves blood flow in tissues and blood vessels.

The therapeutic effect of flower pollen is due to the content in it of biological active components (amino acid constituents, unsaturated fatty acids), which are necessary for cell repair. The presence of pollen determines the antisclerotic effect of the drug, its ability to control the level of cholesterol in the body.

The action of rutin and quercetin is aimed at increasing the elasticity of the vascular walls.

The properties of the flavonoids that make up the drug consist in some antioxidant, antihistamine and detoxifying effects.

The presence of ascorbic acid makes it possible to increase the immune response of the body, to prevent thrombus formation, to supply tissues with food and oxygen.

The provision of energy processes takes on nicotinic acid.

Vitamins of group B favor the establishment of carbohydrate metabolism, coordination of peripheral nerves functions, regulation of oxidation and reduction processes.

Thanks to vitamins, the basic metabolism stabilizes, the wall of blood vessels strengthens, microcirculation improves.

The pharmacokinetics of Vasavital were not investigated.

Dosing and administration

Vazavital is used, as a rule, when eating, taking one capsule three times a day. Duration of treatment is from 1 to 3 months, therapy can be carried out 2 times during the year.

The effectiveness of the drug is manifested as early as a week after the start of treatment. After 3 weeks of using Vasavital, positive dynamics are already becoming apparent.

Studies on the use of this medication in childhood were not conducted. In this regard, the use of Vasavital in children is not recommended.

Use Vasavital during pregnancy

Because of the lack of reliable studies on the use of medication Vazavital during pregnancy and lactation, it is better to refuse the use of the drug during these periods.

Contraindications

Among the known contraindications to the use of Vazavital medication, one can distinguish an allergic predisposition of the organism to certain components of the drug.

Side effects Vasavital

Side effects of Vazavital medication are relatively rare. The most common of these are:

• allergic reactions (urticaria, skin rash, itching);
• Dyspeptic disorders (bloating, stool disorders, discomfort in the stomach, nausea);
• migraine-like headache.

After withdrawal, side effects usually disappear.

Overdose

An overdose of the drug can cause only manifestations of hypervitaminosis. Treatment consists of gastric lavage, withdrawal of the drug and symptomatic therapy.

Interactions with other drugs

It is not recommended to use the medication Vazavital together with derivatives of salicylic acid, penicillin, as well as with anticoagulant drugs of indirect effect.

There may be an increase in the effectiveness of nootropic drugs when combined with Vaslavital capsules.

Vazavital medication is usually stored in dry, darkened conditions at a temperature of about 20 ° C.
