Indications of the uro-grana

The homeopathic remedy Uro-gran is shown as an auxiliary preparation for urolithiasis, uric acid diathesis, gout, inflammatory processes in the urinary system.

Release form

Uro-gran is a granular preparation, with a complex composition:

• Berberis 2 mg;
• Colchicum 2 mg;
• Acidum oxalicum 2 mg;
• Acidum phosphoricum 2 mg;
• Colocyntis 2 mg.

This amount of ingredients is based on 1 gram of granules.

Granules dissolve well in liquids, have a grayish or yellowish tinge.

Granules in the amount of 10 grams are packed in a polymeric container and a cardboard package.

Pharmacodynamics

Pharmaceutical properties of the drug are not well understood. It is known that Uro-gran accelerates the dissolution of urinary deposits and creates conditions for preventing the formation of stones and sand in the urinary tract.

Uro-gran has an antispasmodic property in relation to the musculature of the urinary system. Uro-gran removes inflammatory reaction, facilitates pain and discomfort during urination.

Dosing and administration

Uro-gran is prescribed to adults or children from the age of 12 in the amount of seven granules sublingually.

Children from 3 to 12 years take Uro-gran in the amount of 3 granules at a time (they can be previously dissolved in a spoonful of water).

Uro-gran take daily, in the morning, on an empty stomach. The course of therapy usually lasts from 8 to 12 weeks. If the doctor deems it necessary, he can prescribe an additional course 2-3 weeks after the previous one.

In case of development of renal colic, 3 granules of Uro-gran are taken 3 to 5 times for an hour.

Use of the uro-grana during pregnancy

At the moment there is no information on whether it is possible to use the homeopathic remedy Uro-grana by pregnant or lactating women, since no studies have been conducted on the kinetic effect of the medication on the body.

Uro-gran practically has no contraindications. However, one should not prescribe a remedy for the hypersensitivity of the organism to the constituent ingredients Uro-gran.
