Dosing and administration

Ulfamide is used internally. With peptic ulcer it is necessary to use it once a day for 0.04 mg. It is advisable to postpone the reception for evening time or divide the dose into two doses, in the morning and in the evening to 0.02 mg. If there is an urgent need, the dosage can be increased to 0.16 mg per day. The duration of therapy is 2 months. In general, the method of administration and dose of Ulfamid is prescribed by the attending physician.

To prevent the development of exacerbations, it is worth using a drug of 0.02 mg once a day at night. If this drug is used simultaneously with anticoagulants, the increase of the prothrombin time is not ruled out. The risk of bleeding is not ruled out. When interacting with other drugs, particularly antacids, it is possible to reduce the absorption of the main component of Ulfamide.

With simultaneous use of the drug together with the intra -conjazole, it is possible to reduce the concentration in the blood of the latter, as well as reduce its effectiveness. Do not use Ulfamide with Nifedipine. There were cases of a decrease in heart volume, as well as cardiac output. It is caused, most likely by the negative action of Nifedipine.

The use of the drug with Norfloxacin leads to a decrease in its concentration in the blood plasma. If there is an interaction with Probenecid, then on the contrary, its concentration in the blood increases significantly. In addition, there is a risk of developing toxic effects.
