Theobon-dithiomycocide is an antimycotic for local use.
Indications Teobon-dithiomycocide
It is used to prevent the appearance or treatment of existing fungal lesions of the epidermis.
Release form
The release of the drug is made in the form of ointment, in tubes of 15 g. Inside the box contains 1 tube.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a powerful fungicidal effect against Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis, as well as red trihofiton and fluffy microsporum. It has a bactericidal effect on gram-negative and positive bacteria.
Theobon-dithiomycocide has low toxicity. Does not lead to the development of teratogenic, carcinogenic, mutagenic or allergic effects, and also does not accumulate inside the body. The drug does not possess irritating and skin-resorptive activity, and does not penetrate into the systemic circulation.
Dosing and administration
Treat the damaged area on the skin should be a thin layer of ointment, 1-2 times a day, gently rubbing and grabbing a small area of the epidermis around the affected area.
Erosive and moist areas of the epidermis should be dried using gauze cloths before starting the treatment procedure.
