Pharmacodynamics
Glucosamine hydrochloride with chondroitin sulfate promotes the binding of connective tissues and also prevents cartilage damage.
The use of glucosamine helps to protect the diseased cartilage from the subsequent destruction, which may appear in the case of the use of NSAIDs and GCS, and also leads to the development of moderate anti-inflammatory activity.
Chondroitin sulphate is a substance that helps build cartilage, and besides it promotes the binding of proteoglycans, collagen and hyaluronic acid. At the same time, the component provides the required viscosity of the synovium, inhibits the properties of enzymes that destroy cartilage, and heals the cartilage tissue. In the case of treatment of osteoarthritis, it can reduce the amount of NSAIDs used and alleviate the symptoms of the pathology.
Pharmacokinetics
After applying glucosamine inside, its bioavailability values are approximately 25%. The highest component rates are found inside the liver, articular cartilage and kidney. The element can persist for a long time inside the bone and muscle tissues. Half-life is approximately 3 days. Excretion occurs to a greater extent through the kidneys.
The bioavailability of chondroitin sulfate is approximately 12%. The exchange processes inside the body occur through desulphurisation reactions. Excretion is carried out through the kidneys, the half-life of the component is 5 hours.

Dosing and administration
Adolescents from 15 years old, as well as adults are required to consume 1 capsule 3 times a day for the first 3 weeks, and then 2 times a day for a period of 3-6 months. Repetition of therapeutic cycles is allowed.
You can use capsules at any time of the day, without reference to food intake. It is necessary to wash down the medicine with a small amount of plain water.

Use Teraflex during pregnancy

Contraindications
