With their help, you can perform a hydromassage of the eyeballs, which will improve blood circulation and oxygen supply at the cellular level.

  • Fill two bowls with water: one with warm liquid, the other with cold. Alternately immerse your face with your eyes closed in each of the bowls. Adjust the duration of the immersions according to your own feelings. The last immersion should be in cool water.
  • Take a couple of gauze pieces. One piece should be soaked in cold water, and the other in hot water. Apply the compresses alternately to the eyes for 1-2 minutes each. This procedure tones and perfectly relaxes the eye muscles.

The duration of irrigation with water depends on the type of substances that have entered the eye. For eye diseases, boric acid is diluted in boiled cooled water. To obtain a 2% solution, take 5 g of dry raw material and dissolve in a glass of water. The finished liquid is suitable for treating inflamed eyelids. If you need to prepare a more saturated solution - 3% boric acid, then you should take 6 g of dry matter per 250 ml of water. 10% is prepared from 100 g of raw material per liter of water.
