Symbioflor 1 has anti-inflammatory, immunocorrective, and in addition metabolic activity. The drug corrects the immune response, slowing down the release of proinflammatory IL, which occurs through immunocompetent cells. As a result, a weakening of the intensity of the existing inflammation is noted.

The drug demonstrates a pronounced immunomodulatory effect, and at the same time helps to enhance the phagocytic, chemotactic, and analytical activity demonstrated by macrophages.

Indications Symbioflor 1

It is used for infections of the ENT organs and respiratory tract in the active phase or for relapses of chronic lesions (including sinusitis with bronchitis, runny nose, otitis and tonsillitis ).

In addition, it is prescribed to correct dysbiotic disorders that develop in various pathologies.

Release form

The medication is released in the form of drops/suspension for oral administration - in 50 ml dropper bottles.

Pharmacodynamics

The metabolic effect of the drug develops due to high rates of colonization resistance of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria; this helps maintain healthy intestinal microflora.

Dosing and administration

Adults should take 30 drops of the substance 3 times a day.

Persons aged 1-3 years take 10 drops 3 times a day; for persons aged 3-6 years, 15 drops are prescribed 3 times a day; children over 6 years old take 20 drops of the medicine 3 times a day.

Before starting the procedure, shake the bottle 5 times (holding it vertically) so that the mixture becomes cloudy. Dissolve a single portion in plain water (30 ml), then consume with food.

The duration of the treatment cycle is selected by the doctor; on average, it is 1-2 months.

Use Symbioflor 1 during pregnancy

There is no information on the development of teratogenic effects when administering the drug. Use during breastfeeding or pregnancy is allowed only after the doctor has assessed the benefits and possible risks.

Contraindications

It is prohibited to prescribe Symbioflor 1 to infants under 12 months of age.

Side effects Symbioflor 1

Sometimes at the initial stage of therapy, xerostomia, loose stools, bloating symptoms, abdominal pain or discomfort in the upper abdomen, and headaches appear. Such symptoms are a positive response of the body - however, in order for these symptoms to disappear, it is necessary to reduce the dosage of the medication by half.

Interactions with other drugs

Symbioflor 1 should not be combined with antibiotic therapy.

Storage conditions

Symbioflor 1 should be stored in a place closed to children. After use, the bottle should be tightly sealed. It is prohibited to freeze the medicine. Temperature indicators are in the range of 20C-300C.

Shelf life

Symbioflor 1 can be used for a 24-month period from the date of manufacture of the medicine. The shelf life of an opened bottle is 21 days.
