The drug is a herbal collection for various diseases. This infusion is taken for pain in the digestive tract, to normalize digestion, to cleanse the liver and blood.
The elixir consists of 22 herbs, which were once recommended by Maria Treben (a famous Austrian healer and writer), who used the experience of German and Eastern European healers in her work.

Swedish Bitters 22 Herbs
It is considered a universal remedy for many diseases. The balm contains 22 dry herbs, from the mixture of which you can prepare about two liters of tincture.
To prepare the herbs, pour vodka or alcohol (2l) over them and leave for 14 days in a dark place, stirring daily.

Pharmacodynamics

Rhubarb root, senna leaves have a stimulating effect on intestinal peristalsis, aloe promotes the production of enzymes, reduces inflammation, stimulates appetite, calamus root heals wounds, has a bactericidal effect, normalizes the functioning of the nervous system, gentian root, cinnamon, saffron, etc. improve appetite, digestion, stimulate the production of gastric juice and digestive enzymes.
Dosing and administration
Swedish bitters is taken 1 tablespoon twice a day (you can take 1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day). The tincture can be diluted in a glass of tea, water or juice.
The course of treatment is usually 14 days, then you need to take a break and, if necessary, repeat the course.
For external use, a compress with the medicine should be applied directly to the affected area (before applying the compress, be sure to lubricate the skin with a greasy ointment or oil). On average, the compress should be kept for about 2-3 hours, the duration of treatment in each case will be individual.
Taken depending on the disease. For heartburn, bloating, constipation, as well as lethargy, apathy, it is recommended to take 1 teaspoon of tincture 3 times a day, before meals. Before taking, you can dissolve it in a glass of juice, tea or water.
On average, the course of treatment is 2-3 months, after which waste, toxins, etc. begin to be actively removed from the body.
It is also used for external treatment of skin with abscesses, acne, wounds, for rinsing the mouth. Compresses can be made from bitterness to reduce pain in joints, muscles with arthritis, rheumatism.

For the treatment of diseases, it is recommended to take 2-3 tablespoons per day. 1 tablespoon of tincture is diluted in water or herbal tea and divided into two doses - half a glass before meals, and half a glass after meals.
The tincture can also be used externally in the form of compresses on painful areas, swellings, wounds. For headaches, it is recommended to lubricate the temples with bitterness. It is worth noting that when preparing the tincture yourself, there is pulp left, which can also be used for compresses.
Use Swedish bitterness during pregnancy
Swedish bitters is contraindicated for pregnant women.
Contraindications
Swedish bitters is contraindicated in case of individual intolerance to some medicinal plants that are part of the tincture, diarrhea, intestinal obstruction, liver failure, and for children under 12 years of age.
