Tenoten is a homeopathic medicine with anti-asthenic, anti-depressant and anti-anxiety properties.

Indications Tenoten

It is used to treat adults who are regularly exposed to various stresses, suffer from neurotic conditions and severe irritability, as well as from psychosomatic disorders and feelings of anxiety that arise without any good reason.

In addition, the drug is used in adults with lesions in the central nervous system that are organic in nature and caused by cerebral blood flow disorders or injuries.

The pediatric form of the drug is used to treat CNS lesions of moderate intensity and organic or functional nature. Against their background, a feeling of anxiety, restlessness and irritability is noted, as well as a decrease in memory and concentration. In addition, the drug is used for hyperactivity in the CNS or apathy.

Before using in children, it is necessary to study the instructions very carefully. You cannot use solely the reviews of parents whose children have previously used it as a guide to taking the drug. Only the attending physician can prescribe Tenoten.

Release form

The medication is released in the form of lozenges. Each blister contains 20 such tablets. A pack contains 1-2 such tablets.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug helps to strengthen the central nervous system, and also helps to improve concentration along with memory. Thanks to Tenoten, a person's ability to learn improves, and at the same time it increases the immune resistance of the human body in times of stress, as well as in hypoxia or poisoning. The drug is not a sedative, since it does not have sedative properties.

The medicine regulates the functional activity of the S-100 protein. As a result, metabolic processes within the body are normalized and the processes of slowing down and activating the central nervous system are stabilized. At the same time, the medicine slows down lipid peroxidation.

In people with poisoning or hypoxia, and also in cases of acute cerebrovascular accident, Tenoten has a neuroprotective effect, helping to limit the damaged area.

Dosing and administration

Children's Tenoten is used without reference to food intake. It is necessary to hold the tablet in the mouth until it is completely dissolved. It is not necessary to crush or chew it. When taking the medicine by small children, it is allowed to dissolve the tablet in water (a maximum volume of 15 ml is sufficient).

Usually, children need to take 1 tablet three times a day. The duration of therapy is often 1-3 months. But before using the medicine, you need to consult a pediatrician to choose the most optimal portion sizes and duration of the treatment cycle for your child.

If necessary, the duration of treatment can be increased, or after a short period of time the drug can be prescribed again. The drug should be taken at least 120 minutes before bedtime.

For an adult, the dosage regimen includes 1-2 tablets taken a maximum of four times a day. Therapy also lasts for 1-3 months. If there is no improvement at the end of the therapy period, you should consult your doctor - it may be necessary to repeat the treatment cycle using Tenoten.
