Indications of the semprex

Using Semprex is indicated for people with:

Pharmacodynamics

Acryvastin, the active substance of Semprex, is characterized by a lack of anticholinergic action and poor penetration through the BBB. It is an antagonist of H1 histamine receptors.

Under conditions predetermined by the tritene effect of histamine release, Semprex exerts a pronounced positive effect.

Action after the use of one capsule of the drug in adults is manifested after half an hour. And the maximum effect on such manifestations of skin allergies as rash and hyperemia is observed one and a half to two hours after the start of treatment. On the manifestations of an allergic rhinitis, Semprex exerts an effect an hour after the start of the capsules.

The antihistamine effect persists for another twelve hours, gradually diminishing its activity.

Pharmacokinetics

The medicine is perfectly absorbed and fairly evenly distributed throughout the human body. The maximum concentration of the active substance, after prima inside 8 mg of Semperx, is determined after one and a half hours. But the drug has poor permeability through the hemato - encephalic barrier. The withdrawal period, as well as the achievement of maximum cumulation, occurs after an hour and a half. The medicine is withdrawn (most often in the unchanged form) by the kidneys.

Dosing and administration

The drug is administered orally, without chewing, and swallowing capsules whole. The use of Semprex does not depend on the intake of food.

The dosage and individual treatment regimen is determined by the attending doctor. Most often, the effectiveness shows a dosage of 25 mg / day (one capsule must be taken three times a day).

Side effects of the semprex
