Release form

Produced in the form of drops in bottles of 10 ml (in the kit is also a special lid-dropper). One package contains 1 bottle.

Pharmacodynamics

Nafazoline is a substance that stimulates the function of sympathetic HC, and also affects α-adrenergic receptors. Vasoconstrictive properties can reduce puffiness, exudation and flushing, thereby facilitating breathing through the nose in colds.

Thanks to the active component of the medicine, the outflowing ducts of the paranasal sinuses and the Eustachian tubes are opened and expanded, which improves secretion and prevents the bacteria from settling.

Pharmacokinetics

With local use of the substance, it is completely absorbed. The drug effect after intranasal administration occurs after about 5 minutes and lasts about 4-6 hours.

Dosing and administration

For children 3-6 years, the dosage is 1-2 drops in each of the nostrils, at the age of 6-15 years - 2 drops, for children from 15 years and adults - 1-3 drops. The medicine should be administered three times a day, with an interval between the procedures of at least 4 hours. If the process of breathing through the nose is noted, treatment can be completed. Reuse of drops is allowed only after a few days.

When diagnosing the nasal cavity with endoscopy (for example, when diagnosing, as well as treating polyps in the nose), 3-4 drops should be instilled in each of the nostrils after the procedure for cleansing the nose. Or place a cotton swab in the nostril, treated with a solution of the drug, and hold it for about 2-3 minutes.

If bleeding from the nose should also be inserted into the nostril swab of cotton wool, treated Sanorin.

With edema of the vocal cords, a laryngeal syringe is used, which is injected into the throat with 1-2 ml of the drug.

The medicine should be instilled in turn into each of the nostrils, while slightly deflecting the head back. Also, at the time of instilling the left hole, it is recommended that the head be tilted slightly to the left side, and at the time of instillation of the right one, respectively, to the right side.
