Sage DR. TAISS is a medicinal product that includes sage leaf extract. The product relieves inflammation well, disinfects, and due to the sufficient amount of tannins in the sage leaves, a good astringent and hemostatic effect is achieved. Sage leaves contain resinous and tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, organic acids, phytoncides, and essential oil, which contains various compounds (borneol, cineole, pinene, etc.).

Sage DR. TAISS is recommended for use in various inflammations of the oral cavity and pharynx:
Release form
Sage DR. TAISS is produced as a liquid solution for local use. The liquid has a transparent dark color and has a specific smell, during storage, sediment may appear at the bottom, which does not affect the therapeutic effect of the drug.

Dosing and administration
Sage DR. TAISS is used for rinsing and lotions. One teaspoon of the preparation is diluted in half a glass of warm water and rinse the mouth and throat 3-4 times a day after each meal. The course of treatment is 7-10 days. It is also possible to use undiluted sage for lubrication or irrigation of the oral mucosa after meals. Before applying the solution to the inflamed areas of the mucosa, it is recommended to rinse the mouth with clean water to remove food residue. The course of treatment in this case is a week.
Use Sage DR. THAISS during pregnancy
Sage DR. TAISS is not recommended for use during pregnancy, as there is a risk of complications (increased uterine tone, hormonal imbalance).
Contraindications
Sage DR. TAISS is contraindicated for people under 16 years of age, with individual intolerance to the components. Use the drug with caution in diabetes mellitus, since the drug contains sugar.

Overdose
Sage DR. TAISS at high doses can provoke severe allergic reactions. In isolated cases, general malaise appears, convulsions are possible. In case of any undesirable symptoms, the use of the drug should be discontinued.
