Retinalamin is a medication that improves the functional state of the retina.
The medicinal substance is a lyophilisate, which is obtained from the retina of pigs or other livestock. The drug demonstrates multifunctional activity: it helps to restore destroyed cells, stabilizes the function of retinal cells, has a positive effect on blood coagulation processes, and in addition has a protective effect on the vascular epithelium and increases immune activity. Indications Retinalamin
It is applied in case of such violations:
- open-angle glaucoma;
- pathological processes developing inside the retina associated with injuries or inflammations;
- retinopathy of diabetic origin ;
- with the combined treatment of myopia;
- tapetoretinal type of abiotrophy (a lesion that has a peripheral or central character).
The use of drugs in diabetics: polyneuropathy or retinopathy.
Release form
The release of the drug is made in the form of a lyophilisate, inside 5 mg vials; inside the cell plate - 5 such bottles; inside the box there are 2 such plates.

Dosing and administration
Use of medication for adults.
In the case of inflammation or injuries, in order to restore the retina, an intramuscular injection of 5-10 mg of the drug is required once a day. Such treatment lasts no more than 10 days.
With myopia or glaucoma, it is required to inject 5 mg of the drug through an intramuscular injection (therapy lasts a maximum of 10 days).
In addition, B-vitamins are additionally used - this makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
The use of drugs in pediatrics.
If, due to trauma or inflammation, a weakening of the retina is observed, as well as with abiotrophy, the drug is used intramuscularly - for children 1-5 years of age, 2.5 mg, and for persons over 5 years of age - 5 mg. It is necessary to perform the injection procedure 1 time per day.

Retinalamin is not indicated for infants under 1 year of age for the treatment of central retinal dystrophy.
Use Retinalamin during pregnancy
During pregnancy or HB, the medication is not used.
Contraindications
