Enelbin 100 retard is a means with peripheral vasodilating activity.
The naftidrofuryl component demonstrates the antispasmodic musculotropic effect of relatively smooth arterial muscles, and at the same time weakens arteriole tone and stability of peripheral vessels. The drug helps to improve blood flow within the peripheral tissues, especially within the central nervous system, and in addition, alleviates the pain of an ischemic nature.
The drug has a positive effect on brain activity - it normalizes sleep, reduces the incidence of headaches with dizziness, and improves cognitive abilities.

Indications Ennelbin 100 retard
It is used in disorders of the peripheral blood flow, including trophic ulcers, intermittent claudication, Raynaud's disease, angiopathy of diabetic origin, paresthesia, acrocyanosis, convulsions affecting the gastrocnemius muscles, and pain arising in the region of the extremities with a calm state.
It is prescribed for disorders of blood flow within the brain (among them, insufficiency and atherosclerosis, having a cerebral character).
It can be used for behavioral disorders in elderly people, for stroke or during recovery after it, post-comatose conditions or traumas, blood supply disorders in the inner ear, Meniere's morbus, and damage to eye function and retina of an ischemic nature.

Pharmacodynamics
Naphthidrofuryl is a specific blocker of the activity of S2-terminations located inside the platelets and smooth vascular muscles (antiplatelet effect and antiserotonergic vasodilation). At the same time, the component acts as a bradykinin antagonist with nicotine.
Naphthidrofuryl is a stimulator of energy metabolic processes inside neurons and reduces the formation of algogenic elements (lactic acid). The substance activates the action of succinyl dehydrogenase inside the tissues, increases the volume of oxygen supplied to the tissues, and also helps to remove glucose and increases the formation of ATP.

Pharmacokinetics
Naphthidrofuryl has good absorption inside the digestive system. Prolonged release of the active element allows you to maintain effective plasma indicators for at least 3-5 hours from the moment of use of the drug. The component is 80% synthesized with intraplasma protein.
Excretion in the form of metabolic elements occurs mainly with bile, and in addition with urine (to a lesser extent). The term plasma half-life is approximately 40-60 minutes. The substance passes without complications into the mother's milk and overcomes the BBB.
Dosing and administration
The selection of the portion is done personally, taking into account the nature of the disease and its intensity.
In the case of peripheral blood flow disorders, 0.1-0.2 g of the drug is usually used 2-3 times a day. The maximum effect of the drug is achieved with the introduction of a total daily dosage of 0.4-0.6 g. Therapy lasts at least 3 months.
In the treatment of conditions caused by disorder of intracerebral blood flow, it is necessary to use 0.1 g per day 3 times a day.
In the case of a stroke of ischemic nature, 0.2 g of the substance is used 3 times a day, or 0.3-0.4 g 2 times a day.
Treatment should be long. Tablets are swallowed whole, without chewing, while drinking plain water.
Use Ennelbin 100 retard during pregnancy
There is no adequately confirmed information regarding the safety of using Enelbin 100 retards during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, during pregnancy it is used only in situations where the likely benefits of it are more expected than the risk of negative consequences for the fetus.
Do not breastfeed during therapy.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications:
- severe intolerance caused by the action of naftidrofuril or other elements of the drug;
- recent acute myocardial infarction;
- HF, with severe severity (3-4th grade NYHA);
- TIA;
- disorders of the transmission of nerve signals in severe;
- coronary insufficiency in severe form;
- conditions in which there is a development of bleeding;
- history of vascular collapse;

Overdose
Manifestations of overdose: usually develop spasms of a central nature, confusion, cardiac conduction disorder, a decrease in blood pressure and an increase in signal transmission within the myocardium.
