Rafaholin C is a medicine used for the pathologies of GVP and liver. Included in the group of drugs prescribed for biliary diseases.
Indications of the rafaholin Ts
It is used to treat manifestations of dyspepsia and dyskinesia of GVP hypotonic.
Release form
The release occurs in tablets, in an amount of 30 pieces inside the blister pack. The pack contains 1 blister plate.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a combined effect - it shows a choleretic effect and activates the bile-forming activity of the liver. Rafaholin C has a direct effect on liver function, stimulating its excretory processes and increasing the volume of secreted bile.
Also, the drug enhances intestinal peristalsis and has a protective effect against the hepatic parenchyma, and in addition, a diuretic and spasmolytic effect.
Dosing and administration
The medicine should be consumed orally. For adolescents from 12 years and adults - 1 or 2 tablets, take after eating, 3 times / day. To eliminate flatulence - adults should take 30 minutes before eating 2 tablets (in the morning, and in addition in the evening).
Use of the rafaholin Ts during pregnancy
There is no information on the safety of taking Rafaholin C during pregnancy or lactation, therefore, in these cases, it is prohibited to use the medicine.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- the presence of hypersensitivity to the elements of the drug or other plants that are part of the family Compositae;
- hepatic pathology in severe degree, severe form of hepatocellular insufficiency;
- obstruction in the area of GVP (this includes stenosis and obstruction);
- inflammatory processes in the digestive tract (acute or chronic nature);
- cholelithistiasis;
- since the drug contains sucrose, it is forbidden to prescribe it to people with hypersensitivity (inherited character) with regard to sucrose-isomaltose, as well as fructose and glucose-galactose;
- empyema in the gallbladder.
Clinical tests for the use of drugs in children under 12 years of age have not been performed. Caution is prescribed for diabetes mellitus - because of the presence of sucrose.
Side effects of the rafaholin Ts
Taking the drug can lead to the development of some side effects:
- lesions affecting the gastrointestinal tract: loose stool / diarrhea, epigastric discomfort, biliary colic, nausea and heartburn, as well as gastroesophageal reflux;
- Immune disorders: allergy symptoms (this includes itching with rashes, hyperemia, urticaria, skin edema and contact form of dermatitis).

Overdose
Among the manifestations of intoxication: diarrhea and vomiting, redness on the face, headaches, respiratory depression, tachycardia, problems with the rhythm of the heartbeat.
