Physiomer

Physiomer has anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effects.

Nasal spray promotes intensive washing of the nasal cavity, has a cleansing and moisturizing effect, and at the same time improves the healing processes of the nasal mucosa. Also, washing procedures help to remove mucus, reduce the volume of secretion and reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa (it can be provoked by pathogenic or allergic causes).

The medicine helps improve breathing through the nose, softens and removes crusts present inside it and accelerates healing, which is required, for example, after operations (before use, you should consult a doctor).

Indications Physiomer

The pediatric form of the drug is used in infants over 14 days of age, and the nasal spray is used in adults and children over 2 years of age for the following disorders:

• ARVI;
• those with an active phase of nasopharyngeal disease (including rhinosinusitis, allergic or infectious rhinitis, nasopharyngitis, active phase of chronic rhinitis, as well as sub- or atrophic rhinitis with crusts);
• prevention of the development of infection in the nasopharynx;
• hygiene of the nasal mucosa.

Release form

The medicine is released in the form of a spray - inside bottles with a capacity of 115 ml (children's) and 135 or 210 ml (regular); a spray nozzle is included in the kit.

Pharmacodynamics

The water jet of the medicine mechanically affects the mucous membranes; due to the specific trophic effect exerted by microelements and salts, the protective properties of the mucous membranes are restored.

Salts soluble in sea water help to thin mucus and stabilize its production inside the goblet cells of the mucous membranes.

Microelements stimulate the activity of ciliated cells located in the ciliated epithelium and potentiate the resistance of the nasal mucosa to pathogenic viruses and bacteria, and in addition, cleansing activity in case of mechanical pollution (pollen and dust, etc.).

Dosing and administration

The medicine is administered intranasally.

In case of development of nasopharyngeal diseases or acute respiratory viral infections.

Perform 2-4 nostril washes per day (more frequent use can be done as prescribed by a doctor).

Nasal hygiene and prevention of infections in the nasopharynx.

The children's medicine is used once a day - 1 rinse of each nostril.

Spray usage patterns.

First, you need to put the nozzle on the bottle.

Babies under 2 years of age: the procedure should be performed with the child lying down with his head turned to the side. The nozzle is inserted into the nostril located above, after which rinsing is performed for several seconds. Then you need to sit the baby down and help him blow his nose, and then repeat the procedure with the second nostril.

For children over 2 years of age and adults: tilt your head to the side, insert the nozzle into the nostril that is located on top, rinse the cavity for several seconds, then blow your nose and repeat the procedure with the second nostril.

After completing the procedure, the nozzle must be washed and wiped dry.

The therapy lasts at least 7 days, but a longer course may be prescribed.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use in case of intolerance to sea water.

Storage conditions

Physiomer must be stored in a place closed to children. Temperature marks are within -4/+35°C.

Shelf life

Physiomer can be used for a period of 3 years from the date of production of the therapeutic agent.

The analogues of the drug are the substances Aqua Maris and eucalyptus Otrivin More Forte.
