Pantogar is a medicine that helps to replenish the deficiency of amino acids with proteins, as well as vitamins.
Indications Pantogar
It is used for combination therapy for changes in the hair structure of a degenerative nature, as well as for diffuse hair loss, damage to the hair structure due to exposure to UV rays, and also for problems with nail growth.
The medicine is also prescribed to prevent the appearance of gray hair.
Release form
The product is released in gelatin capsules, 90 pieces per package (capsules are sealed in blister plates).
Pharmacodynamics
The medicinal effect of the drug is due to the complex properties of the active components contained in it.
Medical yeast extract is a natural source of microelements with amino acids, as well as B vitamins. This element has a positive effect on intestinal microflora, helping to improve absorption. The use of medical yeast does not cause weight gain.
Thiamine is an active participant in the healing processes of the skin surface, increases the resistance of hair follicles to stress stimuli and hypoxia, and in addition, regulates energy exchange processes.
Calcium D-pantothenate is a B5 vitamin. This component stimulates the binding of keratin and other hair elements, has pronounced anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic properties, and also reduces the need for hair follicles to obtain oxygen.
Keratin is a structural hair protein that provides hair with shine, strength and elasticity, and prevents the risk of dehydration.
L-cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that is a component of α-keratin. This substance is the main participant in the processes of binding procollagen to keratin. It also participates in the formation of skin tissue and hair, increases the intestinal absorption of zinc and iron, and has a fairly powerful antioxidant effect.
Vitamin H1 (PABA) is an active participant in the processes of breakdown and subsequent utilization of proteins, and in addition, a powerful antioxidant. Due to the lack of this element, alopecia is observed, as well as early graying of hair.
Pantogar penetrates into the hair follicle cells and changes the permeability of the cell walls together with the sensitivity of the endings to negative factors. The medicine supplies the cells with the nutritional components they need, which results in strengthening of the hair follicles, restoration of the hair structure and stimulation of hair growth.
Dosing and administration
Pantogar should be taken orally, with food. Capsules should not be chewed – they should be swallowed whole with water. The adult serving size is 1 capsule taken three times a day. Adolescents aged 12 and over should take capsules 1-2 times a day.
The duration of drug use is determined for each person individually. Often, quite a long therapy is required - up to 6 months.

Use Pantogar during pregnancy
It is prohibited to prescribe Pantogar to pregnant women.
Storage conditions
Pantogar should be kept in normal conditions for medicines. Temperature – within 30°C.

Reviews
Pantogar receives mostly positive reviews for its effects. Women often use it for hair loss, which is often observed after hair dyeing. A 4-month course of treatment with the drug leads to the disappearance of this problem. The only drawback of the drug is that it is quite expensive.
Among the reviews, you can find some confusion when choosing a medicine (between it and Pantovigar). In general, there are no special differences between these drugs. Pantovigar contains a similar set of medicinal elements, and helps to restore the healthy condition of nails and hair.
Shelf life
Pantogar must be used within 2 years from the date of manufacture of the medicinal product.
