After surgery, the drug is instilled 1-2 drops 3 times a day for 3-5 days. To prevent infectious conjunctivitis in newborns, immediately after birth, the child is given 1 drop of the drug three times a day at intervals of 2-3 minutes.

Otolaryngology. To eliminate acute and chronic external otitis, furunculosis and otomycosis. Usually 3-5 drops are instilled 4-6 times a day. Children under 12 years old - 2-3 drops also 4-6 times a day. The duration of treatment is 10-14 days.

In case of purulent sinusitis, the maxillary sinus is washed with a sufficient amount of Okomistin. To eliminate acute and chronic sinusitis and infection of the nasal mucosa, 2-3 drops are instilled 4-6 times a day. Children under 12 years old are given 1-2 drops up to 6 times a day. The course of treatment with Okomistin is 2-3 weeks.

Use Ocomistin during pregnancy

The use of Okomistin during pregnancy is unacceptable. Although this drug does not penetrate into the human systemic bloodstream, it has some effect on the body. The active component of the drug can pass through the placenta to the baby, which is extremely unacceptable.
