In addition to this component, there are also auxiliary substances. They are represented by sodium chloride and purified water. This allows the concentration of the medicine to be made not so high. The main action "falls" on miramistin. Thanks to it, rapid relief and complete recovery occur.

The drops are available in the form of 10 ml. This is a polymer bottle with a dropper cap. It is located in a cardboard box. No other form of release exists. This bottle is quite enough to eliminate many problems associated with the nasopharynx, hearing and vision. Pharmacodynamics

Pharmacodynamics Okomistin is the main component of miramistin. It is a cationic surfactant that has an antimicrobial effect.

This component is based on direct hydrophobic interaction of the molecule with the lipids of the membranes of microorganisms. All this leads to their fragmentation and destruction. During this effect, some part of the miramistin molecule is completely immersed in the hydrophobic area, thereby loosening the membrane and increasing its permeability. This leads to the suppression of the vital activity of microorganisms and their cytolysis.

Miramistin has a high selectivity of action in relation to microorganisms. It has virtually no effect on human cell membranes. The substance has a pronounced antimicrobial effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Including hospital strains with polyresistance to antibiotics.

The component has a detrimental effect on pathogens that are sexually transmitted. In addition, it has an antifungal effect. That is why Okomistin is widely used in the treatment of many diseases.

Pharmacokinetics

The pharmacokinetics of Okomistin have not been fully studied. The drug is based on the active substance - miramistin. It is this that has a positive effect on the body as a whole. The component fights many fungal diseases, including bacteria.

Miramistin is designed to have a local effect. It is used for instillation into the nose, ear canals and organs of vision. It has a broad effect and fights many infectious agents.

There is no data on the possible penetration of the drug components into the human systemic bloodstream. It is not known whether the drug can affect the body in a negative way. Such cases have not been recorded. The pharmacokinetics of the drug has not been fully studied. That is why it is worth visiting a doctor before starting treatment. This will reduce all possible risks and lead to a truly positive effect. Okomistin is a universal remedy in the fight against many viruses, infections and bacteria.

Dosing and administration

The method of application and dosage completely depend on the problem. In ophthalmology, the product is widely used to eliminate injuries and combat acute and chronic conjunctivitis. In addition, the drops perfectly relieve eye inflammation caused by bacteria, fungi or viruses.
