Indications of the odeston

Reception of the drug is prescribed in case of such diseases:

• Dysfunction of the bile duct;

Release form

Pharmacodynamics

The medicine has a choleretic effect on the body, increasing the amount of bile formed and secreted. Under the influence of the drug, stagnation of bile is reduced, which prevents the crystallization of cholesterol and which prevents the development of cholelithiasis.

Pharmacokinetics

Dosing and administration

In combination with morphine, the spasmolytic effect of gimecromone decreases, because morphine has a strong spasmodic effect on the sphincter of Oddi. If you take the drug in conjunction with metoclopramide or any of its derivatives, the effectiveness of both drugs decreases.
