Nasodren is a medicine used to treat pathologies that arise inside the nasal cavity.
Indications Nasodrena
It is used to eliminate inflammatory lesions in the nasal sinuses (in acute form or in case of relapses of chronic disease) - among them are sinusitis of a purulent or catarrhal nature, ethmoiditis with frontal sinusitis and sphenoiditis, or sinusitis of a combined type.
It is also used to treat acute stages of purulent forms of sinusitis, against the background of which symptoms of a generalized infection or orbital complications are observed (in this case, Nasodren is combined with various antibiotics).
Release form
It is released in the form of a lyophilisate, from which an intranasal solution is made.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicine has a local effect on the nasal mucosa, promoting the intensification of the reflex secretion from it - around the sinuses, as well as directly in its cavity. The secreted secretion is gray-mucous substances. Secretion begins a few minutes after the use of the drug and can last for about 2 hours. Due to the stimulation of secretion, natural washing of the sinuses occurs.
Nasodren does not lead to the development of noticeable residual symptoms of irritation of the nasal mucosa, and in addition, it does not have a systemic effect.
Dosing and administration
Instructions for use of the medicine:
- unscrew the cap from the bottle and remove the stopper from it;
