Pharmacodynamics

The medicine is part of a group of 12 potentiated salts from the methods of the German specialist Schuessler.

The body's need for mineral salts is due to the fact that they help maintain stable cell function. Dr. Schuessler's theory suggests that regulatory functional disorders in the cell area often cause ailments and diseases. Thanks to therapy using mineral salts, cellular functions are stabilized, as well as the balance of this substance in the body.

The element sodium sulfate is mainly found in the body within tissue fluids. This substance is used to eliminate problems with excretion processes. In addition, it supports systemic detoxification processes within the liver and the body's cleansing function. The drug promotes the excretion of excess fluid from tissues.

Dosing and administration

The tablets must be taken according to the schemes described below:

  • adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over: 1 tablet no more than 6 times a day (if there is a sudden exacerbation of symptoms) or 1 tablet 1-3 times a day (if symptoms persist for a long time);
  • children aged 6-11 years: 1 tablet no more than 4 times a day (in the acute stage of the disease) or 1 tablet 1-2 times a day (chronic stage);
  • children aged 1-5 years: 1 tablet maximum three times a day* (acute stage) or 1 tablet once a day** (chronic stage);
  • infants under 1 year: take 1 tablet no more than 2 times a day* (acute condition) or 1 tablet once a day** (chronic condition).

*for children under 5 years old – the tablet should be dissolved in plain water (1 teaspoon is enough).

**Dissolve 1 tablet by adding water (volume 100 ml), then give the child 1 tablespoon of the solution (15 ml) 1-3 times a day.

The medicine should be taken before meals (half an hour before) or after them. You need to wait until the tablet dissolves in the mouth.

Use of the medicine during pregnancy or lactation is permitted only with a doctor's prescription.

Contraindications

Main contraindications:

  • the presence of hypersensitivity to the active element of the drug or to its additional components;
  • Because the tablets contain wheat starch, they should not be prescribed to people who are allergic to wheat.

It should be prescribed with special caution to people with lactose intolerance, because the medicine contains lactose.
