Nasobek is a medicine with anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties, and in addition, it removes swelling.
Indications Nasobeca
It is used to eliminate different types of rhinitis (including allergic or vasomotor).

Release form
It is released in the form of a suspension for spray, in bottles with a volume of 100, 180 or 200 doses.

Pharmacodynamics
The active component of the spray is an artificial GCS. It stimulates the production of the element lipomodulin (a substance that slows down the activity of the enzyme phospholipase A), and in addition, it interferes with the process of binding arachidonic acid. As a result, inflammatory exudation is reduced, as well as the binding of lymphokines, and the process of accumulation of neutrophils at the vascular walls is inhibited.
Suppression of granulation and infiltration processes also occurs – this is facilitated by the fact that beclomethasone can suppress the movement of macrophages. There is a decrease in swelling, a decrease in the amount of mucus produced, and an improvement in mucociliary movement.
The medicine is well tolerated, even in case of prolonged use. Symptoms of the disease subside after 2-3 days from the beginning of the course.
Pharmacokinetics
After administration through inhalation, the substance is poorly absorbed into the body. The small portion of the active component that enters the gastrointestinal tract is destroyed in the liver.
Part of the drug is excreted after 15 hours, with about 90% of the component undergoing protein synthesis within the plasma. Excretion occurs with feces, and the remainder of the substance is excreted by the kidneys.
Dosing and administration
The spray is administered intranasally.
Starting from the age of 12, the medicine is prescribed in a dosage of 1-2 injections into each nostril, twice a day.
Children aged 6-12 years are allowed to use no more than 400 mg per day. They are usually prescribed 1 spray in each nostril twice a day.
The course must be continued until an improvement in the patient’s condition is noted.
Before using the medicine for the first time (or when using it after a long pause), shake the bottle with the spray. Then press it into the air several times until a white cloud appears. After that, exhale and pinch one nostril with your finger, while simultaneously spraying the spray into the other. Spraying is done on an inhale, after which you need to exhale through your mouth. Then repeat this procedure with the other nostril.
After completing the procedure, you need to wipe the sprayer using a handkerchief or damp cloth.
In addition, it is recommended to clean the applicator at least once a week. You need to remove the nozzle, rinse it with warm water, then dry it and put it back on.
Use Nasobeca during pregnancy
Nasobek is prohibited to use in the 1st trimester. It is prescribed with caution in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

When combined with antithrombotic drugs, adrenergic agents, orally administered antidiabetic agents, digitalis drugs, and indapamide, the likelihood of side effects on both sides increases.
The drug reduces the effectiveness of isoniazid.
When combined with systemic GCS and anti-asthmatic drugs, their properties are potentiated.

Special instructions
Reviews
Nasobek receives mostly positive reviews. It is often used to combat allergic symptoms, and in addition to this, to eliminate the signs of sinusitis that cannot be eliminated with vasoconstrictor agents. When combined with antibiotics, the drug helps to cure sinusitis.
Some patients who have become dependent on vasoconstrictor drugs try to overcome it by using Nasobek.
The advantages also include the rarity of side effects, as well as the convenient spray form and pleasant smell of the medicine. In addition, patients also note the fairly low price for the medicine.
Shelf life
Nasobek can be used for 4 years from the date of manufacture of the drug. An opened bottle of spray can be used for a maximum of 3 months.
