Indications Naphthalene oil

It is used to eliminate the following violations:

  • skin lesions (stable stage of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, eczema, and in addition ichthyosis with scleroderma or seborrhea and dermatitis of various origins);
  • diseases affecting the spine together with the joints ( arthritis of a rheumatoid nature, polyarthritis, which can be of a brucellosis, rheumatic, and also gouty type, and in addition, osteochondrosis in the area of all vertebral sections (accompanied by radicular syndrome), contractures of post-traumatic origin, spondylosis and post-traumatic osteoarthrosis of a deforming nature, which has a secondary form);
  • extra-articular pathologies in the musculoskeletal system with soft tissues (tendonitis with bursitis, as well as myofasciitis with myositis and myalgia with periarthritis);
  • diseases affecting the functioning of the PNS (sciatica with neuritis and radiculitis with neuralgia);
  • pathologies in the area of peripheral vessels (thrombophlebitis, varicose veins, atherosclerosis affecting the vessels in the legs, trophic ulcers and obliterating endarteritis);
  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree burns and frostbite;
  • internal or external hemorrhoids;
  • poorly healing wound lesions (sutures after surgery and festering wound areas), bedsores, sports injuries and consequences of injuries received.

Release form

The drug is released in the form of a liquid for external treatment - in glass bottles with a volume of 15 ml or in plastic bottles equipped with a sprayer, with a capacity of 25 ml.

Pharmacodynamics

After local treatment with Naphthalan oil, it has an analgesic effect, dilates blood vessels, weakens smooth muscle tone, helps improve rheological parameters of blood, and in addition, stabilizes lipid peroxidation processes along with the coagulation characteristics of blood.

The medicine also has an anti-inflammatory healing effect on the signs of diseases that appear on the epidermis. At the same time, it helps to weaken the manifestations of psoriasis, reduce the area of the affected area and the intensity of clinical symptoms. In addition, it has an immunocorrective effect.

The oil helps to restore the locomotor activity of the musculoskeletal system and improve the microcirculation processes occurring inside the joint tissues. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory, biostimulating and local desensitizing properties.

The oil is quickly absorbed from the skin surface after exposure to the Sollux lamp.

Dosing and administration

The medication is used for local baths, as well as lubrication, tampons and in combination with UV radiation, Sollux lamps, ultrasound irradiation and decimeter-type electromagnetic radiation.

Therapy for osteochondrosis in the lumbar and cervical spine, accompanied by radicular syndrome.

It is necessary to lubricate the area of the root affected by the disease with oil, and then heat this place with a Sollux lamp (or use a light lamp). Such a session is carried out daily for half an hour.

The course includes 10-12 sessions in total. This procedure can also be combined with other physical effects – ultrasound, UV radiation, and decimeter-type electromagnetic radiation.

Elimination of scapulohumeral periarthritis.

Naphthalan oil heated to a temperature of 37-38°C should be applied to the epidermis in the area of the cervical spine, shoulder girdle, and the corresponding arm, after which these areas should be wrapped.

Sessions are held daily, each lasting 20 minutes. The entire course includes 10-15 such sessions. Oil treatment is combined with treatment using decimeter electromagnetic radiation (the device Volna-2 is used).

Lesions affecting peripheral nerves and having a traumatic nature.

The oil, which has been preheated to a temperature of 37-38°C, is applied to the epidermis in the area of the innervation segment, as well as to the affected limb, and then wrapped in a warm blanket. The procedure is performed every day, its duration is 20 minutes. The total duration of the course is 10-15 sessions.

Deforming form of osteoarthritis.

Oil heated to 50°C is used to treat the epidermis above the joint affected by the disease. Then this area is heated using a light lamp or a Sollux lamp. Daily procedures last half an hour. A total of 10-12 sessions are required per course.

Vascular atherosclerosis of the legs, chronic thrombophlebitis, obliterating endarteritis and chronic venous insufficiency.

It is necessary to treat the affected limb with oil heated to 40°C - in the form of a stocking. To maintain the desired temperature, the treated area is heated using a Sollux lamp or by wrapping it. This procedure lasts half an hour. The entire therapeutic course consists of 10-15 sessions.

Skin pathologies (neurodermatitis, cheilitis with eczema and ichthyosis, as well as psoriasis, scleroderma, itching and other dermatoses).

Oil heated to 37-38°C is used to treat the affected area. These procedures must be performed daily for 15-20 minutes. The total course duration is 20 procedures.

Trophic ulcers and burns of 1-3 degrees of severity.

The affected area is treated with a sterile cotton swab, which has been pre-treated with alcohol. After this, the blisters that have formed on the skin are punctured and the necrotic areas of the epidermis are removed. After this, the area should be treated with Naphthalan oil and heated (for 20 minutes) with a Sollux lamp. The affected area should remain open.

This procedure is performed 2-3 times a day until the epithelialization process begins. Treatment usually lasts 14-28 days.

Use Naphthalene oil during pregnancy

The use of Naphthalan oil during lactation or pregnancy, and also in children, is permitted only under the supervision of a doctor.

Contraindications
