The non-steroidal anti-inflammatory preparation Mazhezik-sanovel on the basis of flurbiprofen refers to the agents derived from propionic acid.

Indications Mazhezik-sanovel
Mazhezik-sanovel can be used:
- with headache or toothache, with neuralgia;
- pain associated with the monthly cycle;
- as an analgesic for rheumatoid arthritis, osteochondrosis, spondylitis, gout, arthrosis, lumbago, radiculitis;
- to ease the pain in the postoperative period, after injuries, after dental procedures.
Release form
Mazhezik-sanovel is tablets in a film shell, oblong in shape, bluish in color, with a notch for dosing on both sides.
The cardboard package contains 1, 2 or 6 blister plates, 5 tablets of Mazhezik-sanovel in each plate.

Pharmacodynamics
Mazhezik-sanovel is one of the representatives of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with the properties of an analgesic.
The principle of action Mazhezik-sanovel consists in a significant inhibition of the production of prostaglandins by inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxygenase. Such a reaction entails a decrease in the signs of the inflammatory process, the elimination of redness, swelling, as well as getting rid of painful sensations.
Pharmacokinetics
After the use of Mazhezik-sanovel tablets, the drug is soon fully absorbed in the digestive system. Limit content of the drug in the blood is detected after an hour and a half after using a single amount of the drug. The presence of food masses in the stomach does not affect the absorption and bioavailability of the drug substance.
The half-life is usually about six hours.
The connection with plasma proteins is more than 99%.
The active ingredient Mazhezik-sanovel is completely metabolized and is excreted mostly with urinary fluid.
Dosing and administration
Mazhezik-sanovel is intended for oral administration, from 50 to 100 mg up to 3 times a day.
The optimal daily amount of the drug is 150-200 mg.
In special situations, the dosage can be increased to 300 mg per day.
There is a definite scheme for taking Mazhezik for pain during the menstrual cycle: first the patient takes 100 mg of the drug, and then every 5 hours for 50 mg. Limit dosage in this case should not be more than 300 mg per day.
Mazhezik can be taken, both before meals and after meals.
Duration of treatment may vary, depending on the doctor's prescription.
Use Mazhezik-sanovel during pregnancy
At the moment, there is no sufficiently clear answer to the question of the use of medication Mažezik-sanovel during pregnancy, as the corresponding studies have not been fully carried out.
Medicinal product Mazhezik during pregnancy can appoint only a doctor, if the situation requires. However, you should avoid taking this medication in the second half of pregnancy in order to avoid complications in the form of bleeding and increased bleeding.
Contraindications
Mazhezik-sanovel should not be taken in such cases:
- with a tendency to allergy to the components of the medication;
- with an inclination to allergy to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- with ulcer of stomach and duodenum (especially bleeding);
- if there is inflammation in the intestine;
- simultaneously with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- in case of severe heart disease, kidney, liver;
- in the second half of pregnancy.

Side effects Mazhezik-sanovel
- Digestive disorders, nausea, abdominal pain, gastric hemorrhage, ulcerative colitis, gastritis.
- Increased blood pressure, palpitations, heart failure.
- Anemia, agranulocytosis, bleeding.
- Pain in the head, impaired consciousness, sleep disorders, trembling in the limbs, depression.
- Pain in the kidneys, swelling.
- Allergy, bronchospasm.
- Transient ovulation in women.
- Rigidity of the occipital musculature, fever.
- Hearing changes, increased sweating, visual impairment, hallucinations, fatigue and drowsiness.
Overdose
Overdose Mazezik-sanovel can manifest itself:
- disorder of stool;
- noise in the ears;
- pain in the head;
- lesion of the gastric mucosa.
Strong intoxication Mazhezik-sanovel can lead to violations of the central nervous system, which is manifested by drowsiness, agitation, impaired orientation and even coma. Some patients show muscle spasms. Severe cases are characterized by the development of metabolic acidosis and a violation of blood coagulability.
In patients with bronchial asthma, the disease can go to the acute stage.
Therapeutic measures in these cases are reduced to symptomatic care. In seriously ill patients, control vital functions, release airways, etc.
With muscular spasms, an infusion of diazepam or lorazepam is indicated.
With exacerbation of bronchial asthma, drugs that dilate the bronchi are introduced.
Interactions with other drugs
It is not recommended to combine Mazhezik-sanovel and the following drugs:
- other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (may increase the severity of side effects);
- anticoagulants (their effect is enhanced by the influence of Majestic);
- diuretics (increased risk of kidney damage);
- corticosteroids (increase the chance of developing side effects in the digestive system);
- cardiac glycosides (the combination may lead to the development of acute heart failure);
- serotonin inhibitors (increased risk of bleeding in the digestive system);
- cyclosporins (increase the risk of kidney damage);
- tacrolimus (increased chance of kidney damage);
- antibiotics quinolones (increase the risk of seizures).
Storage conditions
Mazezik-sanovel can be stored at normal room temperature, away from children's access.
Shelf life
Mazhezik-sanovel kept up to 3 years.
