The non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug Majesic-sanovel based on flurbiprofen belongs to the drugs derived from propionic acid.

Indications Majesic-sanobel
Mazhesik-sanovel can be used:
- for headaches, toothaches, neuralgia;
- for pain associated with the menstrual cycle;
- as a pain reliever for rheumatoid arthritis, osteochondrosis, spondylitis, gout, arthrosis, lumbago, radiculitis;
- to relieve pain in the postoperative period, after injuries, after dental procedures.
Release form
Mazhesik-sanovel are film-coated tablets, oblong in shape, bluish in color, with dosing notches on both sides.
The cardboard package contains 1, 2 or six blister plates, 5 Majesik-sanovel tablets in each plate.

Pharmacodynamics
Mazhesik-sanovel is one of the representatives of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with analgesic properties.
The principle of action of Majesic-sanovel consists in significant inhibition of prostaglandin production by suppressing the enzyme cyclooxygenase. Such a reaction entails a reduction in signs of the inflammatory process, elimination of redness, swelling, and also relief from painful sensations.
Pharmacokinetics
After taking the tablet Mazhesik-sanovel, the drug is quickly and almost completely absorbed in the digestive system. The maximum content of the drug in the blood is detected one and a half hours after taking a single dose of the drug. The presence of food in the stomach does not affect the absorption and bioavailability of the drug.
The half-life is usually about six hours.
Binding to plasma proteins is more than 99%.
The active ingredient Majesic-sanovel is completely metabolized and is excreted mainly with urine.
Dosing and administration
Mazhesik-sanovel is intended for oral administration, from 50 to 100 mg up to 3 times a day.
The optimal daily dose of the drug is 150-200 mg.
In special situations, the dosage can be increased to 300 mg per day.
There is a specific regimen for taking Majesic for pain during the menstrual cycle: first, the patient takes 100 mg of the drug, and then 50 mg every 5 hours. The maximum dosage should not exceed 300 mg per day.
Mazhesik can be taken both before and after meals.
The duration of treatment may vary depending on the doctor's prescription.
Use Majesic-sanobel during pregnancy
At the moment, there is no clear answer to the question about the use of the drug Majesik-sanovel during pregnancy, since the relevant studies have not been fully conducted.
The medicine Mazezik during pregnancy can be prescribed only by a doctor if the situation requires it. However, you should avoid taking this drug in the second half of pregnancy to avoid complications in the form of bleeding and increased bleeding.
Contraindications
Mazhesik-sanovel should not be taken in the following cases:
- if you are prone to allergies to the components of the drug;
- if you are prone to allergies to other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- for gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer (especially bleeding);
- if there is inflammation in the intestines;
- simultaneously with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
- in case of severe heart, kidney, or liver disease;
- in the second half of pregnancy.

Side effects Majesic-sanobel
- Digestive disorders, nausea, abdominal pain, stomach bleeding, ulcerative colitis, gastritis.
- Increased blood pressure, increased heart rate, cardiac insufficiency.
- Anemia, agranulocytosis, bleeding.
- Headaches, disturbances of consciousness, sleep disturbances, tremors in the limbs, depression.
- Kidney pain, swelling.
- Allergy, bronchospasm.
- Transient ovulation disorder in women.
- Stiffness of the occipital muscles, increased temperature.
- Hearing changes, increased sweating, visual impairment, hallucinations, fatigue and drowsiness.
Overdose
Overdose of Mazhesik-sanovel may manifest itself as:
- bowel disorder;
- tinnitus;
- headaches;
- damage to the gastric mucosa.
Severe intoxication with Majesik-Sanovel can lead to CNS disorders, which manifests itself as drowsiness, agitation, disorientation, and even comatose states. Some patients experience muscle spasms. Severe cases are characterized by the development of metabolic acidosis and blood clotting disorders.
In patients with bronchial asthma, the disease can progress to an acute stage.
Treatment in the above cases is limited to symptomatic care. In seriously ill patients, vital functions are monitored, airways are cleared, etc.
For muscle spasms, an infusion of diazepam or lorazepam is indicated.
In case of exacerbation of bronchial asthma, drugs that dilate the bronchi are administered.
Interactions with other drugs
It is not recommended to combine Mazhezik-Sanovel with the following medications:
- other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (may increase the severity of side effects);
- anticoagulants (their effect is enhanced by Majestic);
- diuretics (increases the risk of kidney damage);
- corticosteroid drugs (increase the likelihood of developing side effects in the digestive system);
- cardiac glycosides (the combination may lead to the development of acute heart failure);
- serotonin inhibitors (increases the risk of bleeding in the digestive system);
- cyclosporines (increase the risk of kidney damage);
- tacrolimus (increases the risk of kidney damage);
- quinolone antibiotics (increase the risk of seizures).
Storage conditions
Mazezik-Sanovel can be stored at normal room temperature, out of reach of children.
Shelf life
Mazhezik-sanovel can be stored for up to 3 years.
