Pharmacodynamics
Kapsikam is a complex medicine containing components that have an irritating and vasodilating effect on relatively sensitive neuronal endings. This leads to the development of an analgesic, hyperemic and locally irritating effect.
Improved local blood flow and increased temperature in the treated area have a positive effect on bruises, rheumatic conditions, muscle strains and other sports-related injuries.
Pharmacokinetics
The ointment is absorbed at high speed. After a few minutes, the epidermis noticeably turns red, a feeling of warmth and burning appears, and along with this, pain and muscle tension decrease.
The analgesic effect develops after 30-40 minutes and lasts for about 3-6 hours. In case of repeated use of the drug, the effect of the substance lasts for 10-14 days.

Dosing and administration
Painful sensations in the area of joints or muscles are eliminated by treating the affected areas with 1-3 g of the drug (applied using a special applicator) 2-3 times a day, taking into account the severity of the pain. A bandage should also be applied to the treated area to increase the thermal effect. About 50-100 g of the drug is required for the treatment cycle.
After each treatment procedure, you must wash your hands with soap.
The use of Kapsikam as a warming element in athletes occurs as follows - the muscle area is treated with 2-3 g of the drug, rubbing it into the epidermis until a slight redness appears. After finishing the workout, it is necessary to wash off the substance with cool water.
