Pharmacodynamics
Kapsikam is a complex medicine containing components that have an irritating and vasodilating effect on relatively sensitive neural endings. This leads to the development of an analgesic, hyperemizing and local irritating effect.
Improving local blood flow and increasing the temperature on the treated area has a positive effect on bruises, rheumatic conditions, muscle sprains and other injuries of sports origin.
Pharmacokinetics
Ointment is absorbed at high speed. Already after a few minutes the epidermis noticeably reddens, a feeling of warmth and burning appears, and with it the pain and muscle tension decreases.
The analgesic effect develops after 30-40 minutes and lasts about 3-6 hours. In the case of drug reuse, the effect of the substance lasts 10-14 days.

Dosing and administration
Pain, manifested in the joints or muscles, is eliminated by treating the affected areas 1-3 g of the drug (applied with a special applicator) 2-3 times a day, taking into account the strength of the severity of pain. A bandage should also be applied to the treated area - to increase the thermal effect. For the treatment cycle requires about 50-100 g of the drug.
At the end of each treatment procedure, hands should be washed with soap and water.
The use of Kapsikam as a warming element in athletes is as follows - a zone of muscles is treated with 2-3 g of drug, rubbing it into the epidermis until a slight redness appears. After the end of the workout, rinse with cool water.

Use Kapsikama during pregnancy
It is forbidden to use Kapsic when breastfeeding or pregnancy.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- severe intolerance to the elements of the drug;

- epidermal lesions or ulcers.
Side effects Kapsikama
Strong epidermal sensitivity with respect to the elements of the ointment may lead to the appearance of puffiness, itching, or urticaria; In addition, allergy symptoms may develop - irritation, redness, rash, and burning sensation. For example, bronopol with cetostearyl alcohol (components of the drug) can provoke the appearance of local epidermal symptoms (contact form of dermatitis).

Overdose
Treatment of the epidermis with an excessively large amount of the drug may cause redness, a burning sensation, or a slight short itching. With the development of such symptoms you need to wash the ointment from the skin.
If a small amount of the drug is inadvertently swallowed, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract may develop - for example, diarrhea and vomiting; in this case, carry out symptomatic procedures.
If a large amount of drugs were taken by mouth, acute intoxication develops, during which vomiting, headaches, nausea and pain in the abdominal area occur, and besides seizures, fever or swelling, suppression of respiration and coma. Persons with severe manifestations of poisoning, having a neurological nature, or affecting the gastrointestinal tract, should be carefully monitored and symptomatic measures should be taken. Induction of vomiting is prohibited. Also, if you accidentally take orally, you should immediately seek medical help.
Storage conditions
Kapsiki need to keep in a place inaccessible to small children. It is forbidden to freeze ointment. Temperature indicators - not more than 25 ° C.
Shelf life
Kapsikam can be used for a 2-year period from the date of manufacture of the drug substance.
Application for children
There is no information regarding the use of the drug in children, because it is not prescribed in pediatrics.
