Inflamafertin is a drug with an immunostimulating effect. It also has an immunotropic effect - it stimulates the activity of blood and mucous phagocytes, and at the same time potentiates the binding of anti-inflammatory cytokines and changes the regulatory capacity of lymphocyte subpopulations.
The drug has significant anti-inflammatory and, in addition, resorptive activity; in addition, it helps to reduce the severity of proliferative, infiltrative and destructive processes within the inflamed area. [ 1 ]
Indications Inflamapertin
It is used to treat or prevent infertility in women (associated with chronic inflammations - salpingo-oophoritis, oophoritis with salpingitis, parametritis and perio-oophoritis), and in addition to this, in the above-described pathologies associated with abortion.
Used to treat and prevent the appearance of adhesions after surgery in the pelvic area.
It is prescribed at the initial stages of development of common autoimmune diseases (including rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma).
Can be used in combination treatment of pathologies associated with inflammation.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of injection liquid - in ampoules with a capacity of 2 ml. There are 10 such ampoules inside the pack.
Pharmacodynamics
In case of autoimmuno-aggressive syndromes or pathologies, the drug reduces the severity of immune-dependent inflammatory processes and increases the number of CD4+/25+ cells, as well as CD8+/25+; in particular, it increases the IL-10 level in the blood serum.
The drug increases the speed of regeneration processes with epithelialization, and at the same time prevents the occurrence of adhesions. Due to the reduction of signs of edema and adhesion formation, the occurrence of tubal infertility is prevented. [ 2 ]
Inflamafertin significantly exceeds placental extract in its effect on the exudative and proliferative stages of inflammation. [ 3 ]
Dosing and administration
For an adult, the medication is administered intramuscularly - 1 ampoule (2 ml) with an interval of 24 hours. The entire cycle consists of 10 injections.
In case of general autoimmune diseases, after every 5 daily injections, 7-14-day intervals should be given. Several such cycles can be given with a 1-month interval.
Course dosages: on average – 20 ml; maximum – 40 ml. 2-3 average treatment cycles are repeated per year.
- Application for children
Due to the lack of experience using the drug in pediatrics, it is not prescribed to children.
Use Inflamapertin during pregnancy
The medicine cannot be used during breastfeeding or pregnancy.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- severe sensitivity to the components of the drug;
- infection in the active phase;
- history of allergic reactions to animal proteins.
Side effects Inflamapertin
Among the typical side effects that occur after the 3rd-4th injection are changes in the injection area, including swelling, hyperemia and itching. This is due to the fact that the drug has anti-inflammatory activity.
Occasionally, the patient's temperature may increase to subfebrile levels (37-37.2°C). Such symptoms do not require special therapy, but if the patient is worried about this, it is recommended to stop treatment for 3-5 days, and then finish the cycle. Such a break does not affect the therapeutic effect of the drug. After discontinuing the medication, all negative symptoms disappear on their own (in 2-5 days).
People with severe intolerance may experience allergic reactions.
Storage conditions
Inflamafertin should be stored in a place inaccessible to small children. Do not freeze the medicinal liquid. Temperature level - in the range of +2/+8оС.
Shelf life
Inflamafertin can be used for a 2-year period from the date of sale of the therapeutic product.
Analogues
An analogue of this medication is Maximun.

Inflamafertin receives rather mixed reviews from patients. The drug does not help everyone, and its very high cost is a big minus for many women.
