Infakol

Infacol is a medicament which contains the active ingredient simethicone.

This component is chemically inert, therefore it acts only by physical means; it helps to loosen the surface tension of gas bubbles that form inside the gastric contents and intestinal mucus, resulting in their destruction. Due to this, these bubbles merge, which leads to the relief of intestinal gas excretion processes.

Dosing and administration

Infacol is taken orally; however, the suspension does not need to be diluted. The duration of the treatment cycle is selected by the attending doctor, individually for each patient.
