Release form
It is produced as a solution in 50 ml bottles. The pack contains 1 bottle with the solution, and a special piston pipette is included with it.

Dosing and administration
For the elderly, adults and children over 12 years of age, the dosage of the solution is 2.5 ml three times a day.
For short-term therapy or prevention of colds, it is necessary to drink the solution for 10 days. A repeated therapeutic course using Immunal is allowed at least 2 weeks after the completion of the previous one.
The course of treatment must be started immediately when the first signs of a cold appear.
If after 10 days there is no improvement in the disease or a worsening of the manifestations of the pathology is observed, it is necessary to consult with the attending physician.
Directions for use: Using the supplied piston pipette, measure out the required amount of medicine, then dilute the solution with warm water and drink. You can also drink the solution undiluted. It can be taken regardless of meals.
Use Immunala during pregnancy
It is prohibited to prescribe to women who are breastfeeding, as well as pregnant women.
Contraindications
Among the main contraindications of the drug:
- intolerance to echinacea or other plants included in the category of composites (such as calendula, dandelion, as well as chamomile with yarrow and arnica), as well as any of the additional components of the drug;
- progressive forms of systemic pathologies: among them are diseases of the leukocyte blood system (agranulocytosis or leukemia), tuberculosis, oncological pathologies, and in addition collagenoses and rheumatism with multiple sclerosis, as well as other autoimmune pathologies. Along with this, also HIV, AIDS, SLE, leukemia, sarcoidosis, chronic forms of viral pathologies, diabetes mellitus, as well as immunodeficiency of any origin or immunosuppression;
- It is prohibited to prescribe to children under 12 years of age.
Side effects Immunala
Using the solution can sometimes cause the following side effects:
- organs of the immune system: manifestations of hypersensitivity (including itching, rashes, Quincke's edema, urticaria, dyspnea, hyperemia, as well as a sharp drop in blood pressure, dizziness, anaphylaxis and Stevens-Johnson syndrome). Medicines containing echinacea can provoke allergic reactions in people with a hereditary predisposition to such a reaction (people suffering from atopic pathologies);
- There is evidence that the use of echinacea can cause symptoms of autoimmune diseases (disseminated encephalomyelitis, erythema nodosum, immunothrombocytopenia, Fisher-Evans syndrome, and also dry mouth syndrome with renal tubular dysfunction);
- sternum, mediastinum and respiratory system: manifestations of intolerance in the form of bronchospasm with asthma and obstruction;
- lymph and hematopoietic system: prolonged use of the solution (more than 8 weeks) can cause leukopenia;
- Gastrointestinal organs: there is information about the occurrence of gastrointestinal disorders, including vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and nausea;
- NS organs: there is evidence of sleep disorders, as well as the development of a state of agitation.

Overdose
Overdose may cause the following symptoms: constipation or diarrhea, vomiting with nausea, gastrointestinal disorders, sleep problems, severe excitability of the nervous system.
To eliminate these disorders, symptomatic treatment, intake of enterosorbents, and also gastric lavage are required.

Interactions with other drugs
There is no information on interactions with other drugs. Immunal should not be combined with immunosuppressants (including cyclosporine and methotrexate), as well as with drugs that have hepatotoxic properties (these are drugs such as ketoconazole, amiodarone, as well as methotrexate and steroid drugs).
There is a possibility of decreasing or, on the contrary, increasing the effectiveness when used in combination with drugs whose elimination depends on the activity of hemoprotein P450, as well as isomers of the CYP3A or CYPIA2 type.
Storage conditions
The medicine is stored in a place out of reach of children, in conditions suitable for medicines. The temperature indicator is no more than 25°C.

Shelf life
Immunal is allowed to be used for 2 years from the date of release of the solution. But after the bottle has been opened, the shelf life of the drug is 2 months.
