Cholagogum f Nattermann is a medicine used for diseases of the gallbladder and biliary tract.
Indications Cholagogum f nattermann
It is used to eliminate the following violations:
- chronic cholecystitis, as well as cholangitis;
- PHES;
- insufficiency of the exocrine pancreatic function;
- problems with the functioning of the gallbladder, and also the bile ducts (development of dyskinesia).

Pharmacodynamics
The medicine is made from plant materials and contains a balanced complex of various active elements.
The extract based on celandine has an analgesic and antispasmodic effect on the function of the stomach and gall bladder, and at the same time potentiates the secretion of bile (has a choleretic effect).
Turmeric extract has choleretic (stimulation of bile production processes), cholecystokinetic (stimulation of gallbladder cleansing), and anti-inflammatory properties. At the same time, it increases the secretion of gastric glands, which allows this process to be stabilized under conditions of reduced pH.
Dosing and administration
The standard dose of the medicine for adolescents aged 12 years and over, as well as adults, is 1 capsule taken three times a day. The capsules should not be chewed - they are swallowed whole, washed down with water. The medicine should be taken before or during meals.
The therapeutic course lasts 14 days, but if necessary, the treatment can be extended. It should be remembered that if the drug is used for more than 1 month, it is necessary to monitor liver function (determine the level of transaminase activity).
Use Cholagogum f nattermann during pregnancy
It is prohibited to prescribe the substance Cholagogum f Nattermann to pregnant women.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- subhepatic jaundice;
- empyema in the gallbladder area;
- coma of hepatic origin;
- hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;
- lactation period.
Side effects Cholagogum f nattermann
Sometimes, taking the capsules resulted in increased activity of liver enzymes and increased serum bilirubin levels, resulting in jaundice, which can occur during therapy with celandine extracts. These symptoms disappear after discontinuing the drug.
Overdose
