Indications Hemorrhoids

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has a bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, astringent, as well as spasmolytic effect.

Elements of the drug provide anti-hemorrhoidal effects (under the influence of the escylus, which has a strong angioprotective and venotonic effect). Along with this, the spasmolytic effect develops, as well as the inflammation resulting from itching or cracks in the anal passage area.

Chamomile extract, benzocaine, as well as the essence of cottonwood with belladonna help reduce pain.

Dosing and administration

Suppositories are administered rectally. It is recommended to perform the procedure after defecation or cleansing enema.

It is required to administer 1 suppository per day, rectally, at night. In severe cases, 2-3 suppositories are administered per day. The medicine is used until the moment when pain sensations disappear, but a maximum of 7 days in a row.

Use Hemorrhoids during pregnancy

It is forbidden to use Hemolol during pregnancy - because of the risk of miscarriage against the background of this medication.

Also, suppositories are not used in breast-feeding mothers, because there is not enough information about the safety of their use in this period.

Contraindications

The main contraindications:

  • the presence of hypersensitivity to benzocaine or other components of the therapeutic agent;
  • glaucoma;
  • use in people with cancer;
  • increased blood flow, granulocytopenia, thromboembolic disease;
  • kidney failure, which has a severe form;
  • diseases affecting the function of CCC, in which an increase in heart rate may be undesirable (among them tachycardia, ischemic heart disease, CHF, atrial fibrillation, mitral valve stenosis and very much increased blood pressure values);
  • delay in urination or a predisposition to this disorder;
  • myasthenia gravis;
  • pathologies affecting the gastrointestinal tract, against which there is intestinal obstruction;
  • hyperthermia syndrome;
  • hyperthyroidism;
