Dosing and administration

Interactions with other drugs

The combination with vitamin C leads to an improvement in iron absorption, and when used with antacids, it deteriorates the other way around.

It is required to avoid combined use with tetracyclines, because this leads to disruption of iron absorption processes.

Cholestyramine with sulfasalazine, phenytoin with carbamazepine, and with it phenobarbital with triamterene, and besides this, hormonal contraception, folic acid antagonists with trimethoprim, as well as bread with dairy products, raw cereals with solid foods, eggs and tea - all this reduces suction gland.
