Extra Erbisol is a medicine with powerful immunomodulatory and reparative properties.

Indications Erbisol Extra
The medicine is used in various medical fields:
- cardiology: indicated for the treatment of myocarditis, cardiomyopathy, coronary heart disease, diffuse or post-infarction cardiosclerosis, as well as in myocardial infarction and to reduce blood pressure;
- neurology: for the treatment of neurological disorders (due to impaired cerebral circulation), atherosclerosis of cerebral vessels, and in addition, polyneuritis of various origins, demyelinating forms of polyneuropathies, shaking palsy and stroke;
- gastroenterology: treatment of liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis, hepatosis and hepatitis, as well as ulcers or erosions on the mucous membrane of the duodenum/stomach and non-specific ulcerative colitis;
- therapeutic diseases: treatment of chronic stages of bronchitis, as well as angiopathies, pulmonary inflammation, metabolic type of dystrophy, as well as rheumatism, chronic stage of renal failure, systemic vasculitis and gout with arthritis; also in the treatment of diffuse pathologies of connective tissues, and along with this for the complex treatment of people exposed to radiation;
- endocrinology: for diabetes mellitus, Hirata disease, and thyroiditis.
In addition, Extra Erbisol is used to treat wounds of various origins (also received after injuries or operations) and bone fractures, as well as to eliminate periodontitis and periodontosis, aortic diseases (caused by atherosclerosis) and allergies of varying severity.
The medicine is also used in gerontology – in the treatment of age-related functional disorders in various organs: the nervous system and immune system, the liver and blood vessels with the heart.
Release form
It is produced as a parenteral solution, contained in ampoules of 1 or 2 ml. One package contains 10 ampoules with solution.

Pharmacodynamics
The medicine contains low-molecular peptides that can effectively affect some parts of the immune system. This allows the drug to increase the activity of NK cells together with T-killers, enhance the production of interferons with leukotrienes (2, as well as 12) and tumor necrosis factors, and also regulates humoral and cellular immunity. The medicine slows down the process of binding interleukin 10 and suppresses the process of lipid peroxidation. Along with this, it also has a powerful membrane-stabilizing effect.
In the process of using the drug, there is an increase in the regenerative properties of tissues, and along with this, the activation of internal mechanisms for getting rid of injured and no longer able to regenerate cells (in addition, from malignant, mutated, affected by the virus). Such an effect in combination with powerful antioxidant properties allows using the drug to eliminate various pathologies - liver, blood vessels with the heart, gastrointestinal tract, as well as oncological diseases, injuries and infections of various locations (especially viral type).
The active substances of the drug do not have terato-, carcino-, mutagenic or embryotoxic effects.
Dosing and administration
The drug must be administered parenterally. Intramuscular administration is also acceptable - into the area of the outer upper quadrant of the gluteal muscle. Rarely (for the treatment of obliterating vascular pathologies) it is administered intravenously.
The solution should be administered taking into account the chronological rhythms of the body - in the case of a single administration, the procedure should be performed at 8-10 p.m. or 6-8 a.m.; if a double dose is prescribed, then it should be administered at 6-8 a.m. and at 8-10 p.m. When treating pancreatic pathologies, it is necessary to move the morning procedure to 9-11 a.m.
The procedure for parenteral administration of drugs should be carried out before meals (1-2 hours) or after meals (2-3 hours).
As a rule, the recommended scheme for using the drug is as follows: administer the solution 2 ml (2 times a day for 10-20 days) intramuscularly. Upon completion of this course, the doctor may prescribe another 10-20 days of administering the drug in the amount of 2 ml, in the mornings intramuscularly.
Individual schemes for using the drug:
In neurology, it should be administered intramuscularly twice a day, 2 ml (for 3 days), and then, maintaining the morning dosage, increase the evening dosage to 4 ml. After 13-23 days from the start of the course, it is necessary to switch to intramuscular administration of 2 ml of the drug 2 times a day (for 7-15 days).
If the patient has suffered a stroke, the dosage needs to be adjusted – the drug should be started with a morning intramuscular injection of 2 ml (7-10 days after the stroke). The treatment course lasts 20-30 days.
In case of obliterating vascular pathologies, intravenous administration of 4 ml per day is required (with preliminary dilution of the drug in 0.9% sodium chloride solution (250 ml)). The duration of the infusion is 1-2 hours. Upon completion of this course, a transition to maintenance treatment is required - 2 ml twice a day (i/m). The duration of the treatment course is 10-15 days.
In diabetes mellitus, it is necessary to monitor glucose levels (starting from the 3rd day of taking the medication).
In case of elevated blood pressure, it is necessary to prescribe 2 ml of the drug intramuscularly once a day (in the morning), and in case of severe disease – 2 ml of the drug intramuscularly in the morning every 48 hours.
In case of use in pediatric practice - for children 10+ years old, it is necessary to use dosages that are 50% of the adult size.
Use Erbisol Extra during pregnancy
Although the drug does not have mutagenic, teratogenic or embryotoxic properties, its use during lactation or pregnancy is permissible only under the supervision of the attending physician.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications:
- the patient has an intolerance to the components of the drug;
- children under 10 years of age.
Caution should be exercised when prescribing drugs to children and adolescents 10+ years of age.

Side effects Erbisol Extra
The following side effects are possible as a result of using the medicine:
- hyperthermia and increased blood pressure were observed occasionally;
- During the use of the drug, the patient may develop an allergy;
- When using a remedy to eliminate inflammatory processes, at the initial stage of therapy the severity of inflammation may increase.
Overdose
An overdose of the drug may cause a short-term feeling of increased excitability.
No specific treatment is required to relieve this symptom.
Interactions with other drugs
The combination of Extra Erbisol with antiviral and antimicrobial drugs enhances the properties of the latter.
To achieve maximum immunomodulatory effect, the drug should not be used simultaneously with other immunomodulatory drugs that stimulate humoral immunity.
The drug should be combined with agents that act on the body directly through receptors (including biostimulants and hormonal drugs) with particular caution. In cases where simultaneous use cannot be avoided, the patient's condition must be monitored and, if necessary, the dosage of the above agents adjusted.
Storage conditions
The medicine must be kept at a temperature that does not exceed 12°C. In addition, the solution must not be frozen.
