Enzibene

Enzibene is a polyenzyme drug. Contains in the composition of pancreatin - a pancreatic enzyme involved in the processes of fat, protein and carbohydrate digestion inside the digestive system.

The main factor is the enzyme activity of lipase, and with it, trypsin indicators; at the same time amylolytic activity is important only in the treatment of cystic fibrosis, because even in the case of a significant weakening of the excretory function of pancreatic amylase has sufficient activity. The severity of the effect exerted by pancreatin depends on its volume and the speed with which the enzymes are released from galenical structures.

Indications Enzibene

It is used in case of such problems:

• the disorder of the external excretory activity of the pancreas due to cystic fibrosis or chronic pancreatitis;
• dyspepsia ;
• conditions associated with simultaneous resection in the small intestine and stomach;
• functional increase in the speed of passage of food inside the intestine;
• disorder of the gallbladder / liver system;
• simultaneous intake of fat, poorly digestible vegetable, as well as unusual for human food;
• swelling;
• intestinal degassing during preparation for ultrasound diagnosis or x-ray procedure.

Release form

The release of the drug is implemented in pill form - 10 pieces inside the cell bundle. Inside the box - 2 or 8 such packs.

Pharmacokinetics

The tablet shell does not undergo dissolution under the influence of gastric juice, therefore it protects the enzymes that are sensitive to this acid during the gastric passage of the tablet. The dissolution of this shell occurs only in conditions of a weak alkaline or neutral intestinal environment - while the drug enzymes are released. Pancreatin is not absorbed inside the digestive system. The released enzymes have a therapeutic effect inside the intestinal lumen.

Dosing and administration

It is necessary to use tablets, without chewing, and washing down with simple water. Portion size is selected individually, given the severity of digestive dysfunction. Often prescribed use 1-2 tablets before meals.

Taking into account the variety of food intake and the intensity of the digestive disorder, you can additionally use another 2-4 tablets. It should be borne in mind that the effective dosage may be significantly higher. It is forbidden to exceed the daily portion, which, when converted to lipase, is 15-20 thousand U / kg.

Children's portions are selected by the attending doctor. In cystic fibrosis in a child younger than 4 years old, they often use 1000 U / kg with each meal at first. For a child older than 4 years, 500 U / kg of medication is applied.

The duration of the treatment cycle can be at least several days (in the case of digestive dysfunction associated with dietary errors) and a maximum of several months or more (when replacement treatment is required).

Use Enzibene during pregnancy

Enzibene can be used during breastfeeding and pregnancy.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated for use in persons with strong intolerance to the elements of the drug or pancreatitis in the active phase.

Side effects Enzibene

With the introduction of pancreatin may develop immediate symptoms of intolerance, and in addition hyperergic manifestations within the digestive system.

Sometimes the use of large portions of Enzibene led to the appearance of strictures within the ileocecal region and ascending colon in people with cystic fibrosis. In addition, intestinal blockage and constipation may occur.

Enzibene should be kept in a place closed to children. The temperature level is not more than 25 ° С.

Shelf life

Enzibene is allowed to apply during the 36-month period from the date of manufacture of the drug.
