Entrop has a direct activating effect on integrative cerebral function.

The drug helps to improve mental performance and concentration, simplifies learning, consolidates memory, increases the resistance of brain tissues to toxic effects and hypoxia. In addition, it also has an anxiolytic and anticonvulsant effect, normalizes the processes of slowing down and activating the central nervous system, and has a beneficial effect on mood.

Indications Entrop

It is used for diseases of the central nervous system of various origins, against which there is a decrease in motor activity and a weakening of intellectual and mnestic activity:

  • neurotic conditions, in which there is a disorder of memory, attention and assimilation of the information received, fatigue, lethargy and weakening of psychomotor function;
  • mild to moderate depression ;
  • syndromes of a psychoorganic nature, accompanied by apathetic-abulic symptoms and mental-mnestic disorders, as well as sluggish states arising in the case of schizophrenia;
  • convulsive conditions;
  • chronic alcoholism (to relieve symptoms of depression, asthenia, mental and mental disorders).

It is prescribed to prevent hypoxia, increase stress resistance, stabilize the functional state in extreme situations at work, to prevent fatigue and increase physical and intellectual capacity for work, and in addition to normalize the daytime biorhythm and inversion of the sleep / wake period.

Release form

The release of the medicinal substance is carried out in tablets with a volume of 0.05 and 0.1 g, 10 pieces each inside a contour package; inside the box there are 1-2 such packages.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has a beneficial effect on cerebral circulation and metabolism, stimulates oxidation-reduction processes, increases the energy potential of the body by utilizing glucose, and also improves the processes of regional blood circulation within ischemic cerebral areas. It increases the indices of serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine inside the brain, does not change the values of GABA, is not synthesized with the endings of GABA-α and GABA-β, does not have a significant effect on spontaneous cerebral bioelectrical activity.

The drug does not affect the function of the CVS and respiration, has a weak diuretic effect, and has an anorexigenic effect in the case of course use.

The stimulating activity of Entrop is associated with its ability to moderately affect motor function, with an increase in physical performance, a significant antagonism to the cataleptic effect of neuroleptics, and, in addition, with a weakening of the hypnotic effect of hexenal and ethyl alcohol.

The moderate psychostimulating effect of the drug develops mainly in the ideational sphere. This effect is combined with anxiolytic effect, improves mood and has some analgesic activity, increasing the pain threshold.

The adaptogenic effect of phenylpiracetam increases the body's resistance to stress during excessive physical and mental stress, hypokinesia, low temperature, severe fatigue, and immobilization.

The use of the drug causes an improvement in vision - the visual field expands and acuity increases.

Phenylpiracetam helps improve blood circulation in the legs. Also, this element stimulates the production of antibodies (as a reaction to the use of an antigen), which allows us to conclude that it has immunostimulating properties; however, it does not lead to the appearance of immediate intolerance and does not correct allergic skin reactions of inflammation arising from the use of foreign protein.

The course use of drugs does not cause the development of tolerance, drug dependence and withdrawal syndrome.

The effect of Entrop begins after the introduction of a single portion, which is extremely important in an extreme situation.

The drug has no mutagenic, embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects. It has a low toxicity index, it was experimentally found that the lethal dose is 0.8 g / kg.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug is absorbed at a high speed, passes into various tissues and organs, and easily overcomes the BBB. The level of absolute bioavailability of drugs after oral administration is 100%. The Cmax indicator is noted after 60 minutes; half-life is 3-5 hours.

The drug does not participate in metabolic processes and is excreted unchanged. Approximately 40% of drugs are excreted in the urine, and the remaining 60% in sweat and bile.

Dosing and administration

You need to use the drug orally, after eating food. Serving size and duration of therapy are selected individually, taking into account the characteristics of the patient's condition.
