Enerliv acts by stabilizing the activity of cell walls, as well as accelerating the processes of restoration of functional liver cells (hepatocytes). The drug slows down lipid oxidation inside liver tissue, as well as conversion into peroxide compounds.
The active element of the medicine is defatted and enriched soybean phospholipids. In the process of excretion of phospholipids through the bile duct, the lithogenic index decreases and bile indices stabilize.

Indications Enerliv
It is used for the following disorders:
- hepatitis in the active or chronic phase;
- fatty liver degeneration (this includes liver damage that develops in diabetes);
- hepatosis caused by poisoning (industrial poisons, alcohol, medications, toxins, as well as poor nutrition);
- postoperative therapy in case of surgery in the liver or biliary tract;
- mild hypercholesterolemia, when diet or other non-drug therapy methods are ineffective.
Release form
The medicinal component is released in the form of capsules. Inside the pack there are 10, 30 or 50 pieces.

Pharmacodynamics
Soy phospholipids have an intense hepatoprotective effect: they can significantly reduce fatty liver degeneration, inhibit the growth of connective tissues inside the liver parenchyma, and in addition, reduce cholesterol levels due to their strong hypocholesterolemic effect. Phospholipids also suppress collagen binding.
At the same time, these high-energy compounds affect the disturbed lipid metabolism, regulating metabolic processes. As a result, cholesterol with neutral fats is converted into forms that can be moved (especially due to the increased ability of HDL to attach cholesterol), and then undergoes oxidative processes.
Pharmacokinetics
After oral administration, the main part of the drug is absorbed in the small intestine and then broken down by the enzyme phospholipase-A to form the component 1-acyl-lyso-phosphatidylcholine. In this case, 50% of this component is immediately converted into polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholine, which can pass into the blood through the lymphatic ducts, and later, mainly in combination with HDL, move into the liver. Blood values of Cmax phosphatidylcholine after 6 hours and one more day from the moment of oral administration, on average equal 20%.
The half-life of the choline element is 66 hours, and that of unsaturated fatty acids is 32 hours.
Dosing and administration
The medication should be prescribed for oral administration - capsules are swallowed with plain water (1 glass). You need to take 2 capsules 3 times a day. Chewing the capsules is prohibited.
The therapeutic cycle is selected individually by the attending physician, based on the nature and severity of the pathology.
Use Enerliv during pregnancy
As a food product, soy is not dangerous during pregnancy, but experience with the use of enriched defatted soy phospholipids during this period, as well as during lactation, is very limited, which is why Enerliv should not be prescribed during these periods.
Shelf life
Enerliv can be used within 24 months from the date of manufacture of the medicine.

Application for children
The medication is prohibited for use in persons under 12 years of age.

Reviews
Enerliv receives mostly good reviews from medical professionals, but it is noted that liver-related disorders can only be eliminated by using the drug in combination with diet and other medications.
Patients who have used the medication note that it has high therapeutic effectiveness. The disadvantages include a fairly long treatment course, lasting about 3 months.
