Gynecological diseases (gynecology)

Pioalpinx and tubo-ovarian abscess

Pioalpinx is an accumulation of pus in the fallopipe with salpingitis. Tuboovarial abscess is a cavity in the area of the fallopian tube and ovary, containing pus and delimited from surrounding tissues by a pyogenic membrane.

Ovarian apoplexy

Apoplexy is the rupture of the ovary, which often occurs in the middle or in the second phase of the menstrual cycle. The leading symptom of ovarian apoplexy is acute, intensifying pain in the lower abdomen and increasing symptoms of intra-abdominal bleeding with undisturbed menstrual function.

Infertility in women

At each site of the reproductive system of the male and female body pathological processes may occur, violating the complex biological mechanism of their work and leading to infertility.

Urinary incontinence in women

Urinary incontinence is a pathological condition in which control over the act of urination is lost. The leading cause of urinary incontinence is considered to be labor: stress urinary incontinence is noted in 21% of women after spontaneous delivery and 34% after the imposition of pathological obstetric forceps.

Prolapse of female genital organs

Falling out of the genitals is a polyethological disease, the basis of which is the degeneration and incompetence of the ligamentous apparatus of the uterus and the muscles of the pelvic floor, increased intra-abdominal pressure.

Anomalies of the uterus

In the position of the female genitalia, violations (anomalies) are relatively frequent, which are predominantly secondary and depend on a variety of pathological processes that occur both in the genitals and outside the uterus and its appendages. The disorders observed in this case are not only determined by the mixing of the uterus, but depend on the underlying disease that caused the anomaly.

Endometriosis (endometriosis disease)

Endometriosis is a benign condition in which functioning endometrial tissue is implanted outside the uterine cavity. Symptoms depend on the localization of endometriotic foci and can be as follows: dysmenorrhea, dyspareunia, infertility, dysuric disorders and pain during defecation.

Malignant tumors of the ovaries

Secondary ovarian cancer (cystadenocarcinoma) occurs most often in relation to malignant tumors of this organ. It develops more often in serous, less often mucinous cystadenomas. The secondary lesions of the ovaries include endometrioid cystadenocarcinoma, which often develops in young women suffering from primary infertility.

Tumors of the ovaries

Tumors of the ovaries occupy the second place among all neoplasms of the female genital organs, after uterine myoma. They occur at any age, but mostly after 40 years. Among them prevalent benign forms (75-80%), malignant forms occur in 20-25%. Over the past 10 years, the incidence of genital cancers has increased by 15%.

Cervical cancer

Cervical cancer rarely appears on the background of unchanged epithelium. This disease is naturally preceded by dysplasia and / or pre-invasive cancer.
