Dikrasin acts due to the activity of essential oils, flavonoids, and tannins of medicinal herbs contained in the tonic. Its use allows you to reduce the dosage of NSAIDs or completely abandon their use.

The drug does not cause intolerance, does not change blood pressure levels (this allows it to be used in people with abnormalities in this indicator) and the structure of epidermal appendages (sebaceous and sweat glands, as well as hair follicles). [ 1 ]

Indications Dicrasin

It is used for osteoarthrosis in various areas (arthrosis affecting the shoulder joints, gonarthrosis, periarthritis of the shoulder-scapular type and coxarthrosis ), deforming form of osteoarthrosis (accompanied by secondary radiculoneuritis and spinal damage), pain and disorders in the functioning of the joints.

Release form

The medicine is released in the form of a tonic, in 65 ml bottles.

Pharmacodynamics

Rhamnoside, hyperoside with rutin, vitexin and quercetin, as well as other flavonoids, have a capillary-toning effect, reduce the fragility and brittleness of capillaries, and prevent damage to the basal walls of endothelial cells caused by various factors. The above components have a retarding effect on hyaluronidase and have an antioxidant effect, are participants in oxidation-reduction processes, demonstrate antiallergic, anti-inflammatory and venotonic activity.

Essential oils (geranyl acetate, borneol, L-pinene and thymol with cineole) have a local irritating effect on the skin; when used in standard doses, they are non-toxic. [ 2 ]

Tannins have analgesic, bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties.

Hydrochloric acid in the concentration used, being a carrier, helps to develop the effect of essential oils, flavonoids, tannins, and simplifies their passage into tissues.

The medicine demonstrates pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity, helps improve nutrition and blood supply to tissues in the area near the joints and affected areas. Reduces pain, dissolves toxins and salts, improves mobility of the spine and joints.

Dosing and administration

The bottle with the tonic should be shaken before use. The therapeutic cycle lasts on average 18 days. The medicine should be applied to clean, dry, undamaged skin.

Basic treatment cycle.

It is used to treat Bechterew's disease, osteochondrosis and deforming spondylosis.

On the first day, the medicine is rubbed evenly over the entire body in small portions. 25-30 ml of medicine is required for 1 such session; the procedure itself lasts 25-30 minutes.

Start treatment with the toes, then treat the feet with shins, thighs, back, back of the neck, sternum and arms. Rubbing is performed in the direction from the extremities to the body.

Patients who cannot tolerate the smell of the medication that occurs after it is rubbed into the epidermis can wear a mask pre-moistened with water.

In case of thrombophlebitis, which occurs with osteoarthritis, you cannot apply the toner to areas that have changed color due to trophic disorders (areas with dark spots).

On the 2nd day, a massage is performed without using Dikrasin. It is performed either without any ointment at all, or using a neutral cream (for example, baby cream). Massage for people with high blood pressure should be performed starting from the head to the waist.

On the 3rd day, rest and a shower are scheduled.

This 3-day course should be repeated 6 times. For the entire cycle, consisting of 6 3-day courses, about 0.2 l of the drug is needed (3 bottles of 65 ml).

In advanced cases and severe forms of pathology, 2-3+ cycles are performed with weekly intervals. In case of good tolerance of the medication, 14 days after the main treatment cycle, it can be used locally, on the affected areas, every other day or daily.

Local use.

In case of disease of individual joints, the medicine is prescribed locally, with rubbing 15-20 drops into the area of one large joint daily or every other day - when the disease worsens, which is manifested by increased pain. In such cases, the entire cycle lasts 18-20 days. After 14 days, the local use cycle can be repeated if necessary.

In case of development against the background of vascular angiopathy of the diabetic type and endarteritis of obliterating nature, it is recommended to first carry out the main cycle, and then, after a 2-week interval, carry out a cycle of local application. In this case, rub the tonic into the area of the feet with shins, as well as thighs. It is necessary to carry out 9 procedures - every other day for a period of 18 days.
