Indications Diamond green Flomed
Brilliant green Flomed, like other external antiseptics based on brilliant green, is used to treat the surgical field in surgery, to prevent infection in case of minor damage to the skin and mucous membranes (cuts, abrasions), and to disinfect the skin around wounds. In addition, Brilliant green Flomed is used as a local irritant and distracting agent to reduce the intensity of inflammatory processes in myositis and reduce pain in neuralgia.
Release form
1% alcohol solution for external use in polymer containers – markers (3 ml) with a solid porous rod.
Pharmacodynamics
Flomed Brilliant Green contains brilliant green, which has bactericidal antimicrobial activity, causing protein coagulation and blocking the synthesis of some bacterial enzymes.
Aseptics based on brilliant green are active against gram-positive bacteria.
Pharmacokinetics
Flomed Brilliant Green is absorbed to a small extent by skin cells and penetrates into tissues and the thyroid gland.
Dosing and administration
Directions for use of Flomed brilliant green: externally on affected areas of the skin or mucous membranes of the oral cavity.
When using the preparation, remove the marker cap and apply the contents to the skin with the rod. For a distracting effect in case of pain due to myositis or neuralgia, the preparation should be applied to the skin in the form of a grid.
Use Diamond green Flomed during pregnancy
The use of Flomed Brilliant Green during pregnancy is not recommended.
Contraindications
Contraindications to the use of brilliant green are individual hypersensitivity.
Brilliant green Flomed is not used to treat trophic skin ulcers in diabetes mellitus, deep wounds and large wound surfaces, boils, acne, skin rashes in the form of urticaria, etc.
Side effects Diamond green Flomed
Side effects of Flomed brilliant green include burning at the site of application, and burning and lacrimation if it comes into contact with the mucous membrane of the eye.
Storage conditions
This medicine should be stored in a place protected from light at room temperature.
Shelf life
The shelf life is 12 months.
