Detoxifit is a drug that affects metabolic processes and digestive function.
Indications Detoxify
It is used in combination therapy for the following disorders:
- atherosclerosis;
- elevated blood pressure;
- gout in remission;
- urolithiasis;
- swelling;
- pathologies affecting the liver and biliary tract (cholangitis, as well as chronic hepatitis or cholecystitis);
- varicose veins of 1-2 degrees of severity;
- asthenia.

The product is produced in the form of a herbal collection, 100 g per package. The package contains 1 such package.

Pharmacodynamics
The medicine has a weak diuretic and saluretic effect, and in addition, a hypoazotemic effect. It helps excrete salt deposits remaining inside the spine and joints. It also reduces the level of triglycerides with cholesterol in the blood plasma in hyperlipidemia, inhibits the development of atherosclerosis, and at the same time helps regress existing plaques of atherosclerotic origin.
It has a positive effect on the urea-forming liver function, as well as depurative renal activity. It helps improve the liver's antitoxic activity. The drug's properties also include antispasmodic, anti-edematous, anti-inflammatory, choleretic and capillary-protective properties.
Dosing and administration
To prepare the tincture, you need 2 tablespoons of herbal mixture, which is brewed with boiling water (0.5 l). Then the decoction is infused in a closed container for 60 minutes, after which it is filtered.
Adults should drink the medicine in the amount of 150 ml, three times a day, 20-30 minutes before meals.
The duration of use of the drug is selected by the attending physician. Often the course lasts for 1.5-2.5 months. If necessary, the doctor can prescribe a repeat course.

Use Detoxify during pregnancy
Since there is not enough information about the use of Detoxifit during pregnancy, it should be used only with the permission of a doctor, in situations where the probable benefit to the woman is higher than the risk of negative consequences for the fetus.
If the drug needs to be taken during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued during this time.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- presence of hypersensitivity to drugs;
- aggravated ulcer in the gastrointestinal tract;
- cholelithiasis, jaundice, acute forms of hepatitis or cholecystitis, liver cirrhosis, as well as glomerulonephritis and renal failure of an acute or chronic nature;
- decreased blood pressure, bradycardia and thrombophlebitis;
- hypokalemia.
Side effects Detoxify
The medication is often well tolerated. However, given that it contains many components, individual intolerance to any of them, or failure to comply with the dosage regimen, sometimes leads to the appearance of side effects. Among these are allergic symptoms in the form of rash, urticaria, itching, hyperemia, skin edema, dermatitis, and photosensitivity. In addition, one can expect the development of gastrointestinal dysfunction (diarrhea and nausea with vomiting) and the appearance of a feeling of drowsiness.
There is also information that the use of bearberry leaves can lead to pain in the lower back or at the end of the urination process, as well as a change in the shade of urine. Although Detoxifit contains a very small amount of this ingredient, the development of the above symptoms cannot be ruled out.

Overdose
Intoxication may lead to a potentiation of the severity of side effects.
Interactions with other drugs
It is prohibited to combine the drug with indirect anticoagulants, sulfonamides, antibiotics, and also oral contraceptives, SG, female sex hormones, as well as antihypertensive drugs, statins and substances that block Ca channels.
Long-term use in combination with antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine), thiazide or loop diuretics, as well as adrenocorticosteroids and laxatives may cause water and electrolyte imbalance.

Storage conditions
Detoxifit should be kept in a place out of reach of children. Temperature values should not exceed 25°C.

Shelf life
Detoxifit can be used for 2 years from the date of manufacture of the drug.
Application for children
It is prohibited to prescribe the medicine to children under 12 years of age.
Teenagers over this age are prescribed to take a warm infusion in a 75 ml portion, three times a day, 20-30 minutes before eating.
